Electronic pop with classical & hip hop influences at a chill 80 bpm (downloadable .wav)

Inspired by Edgar Allen Poe’s pendulum tale and other horror stories — some from history, but unfortunately, most from real life today. Musically, I think of Pendulum as a cathartic hip hop opera scene, painting horror into something musical, treating the VST instruments as if they are soprano, alto, tenor, baritone, and bass voices.

In ATL where I live, rainstorms have arrived for the next few days as Hurricane Erin has moved inland. Yet, even on the rainiest of days, the afterglow of music created around firelight lingers like the smoky scent of burnt hickory. In my world, that “firelight” is a computer screen, although in the past I’ve noodled an acoustic guitar around a campfire. Who hasn’t?! 😀
