( COUNTRY MUSIC ARTIST) Marcus Leary has the rare ability to take Lemons and make Lemonade. He was born in Los Angeles California. He was Adopted at the age of three by a loving christian family and Raised in a small farming town call Arvin down in the Valley outside of Bakersfield. Marcus developed a love for country music at a young age among others like gospel music from church were he enjoyed singing them. he discover that had a ability to sing and was encourage to sing for the church the response was resounding so he pursue it taking singing classes.Marcus has fond memories of his childhood, Particularly the wonderful music that came out during the 80s and 90s like (Merle Haggard,Dwight Yoakam,Buck Owen) in Bakersfield where he grew up. When he was a teen,He had developed a country/gospel sound that hints at his black heritage and shouts Bakersfield Country Cool! Marcus added his love of horses to his passion for music. He became involved in the southern California Rodeo scene and was exposed to traditional country music at it's best. The time he graduated from High school he had developed enough of his talent to perform for his graduation ceremony. After a stint in the Navy, Marcus moved to Texas for bigger exposure and Opportunities and he started performing for the Opry houses around Dallas like the Grapevine Opry to hone his Talents in front of crowds than night clubs. He added he was particular about his music because he wants to be sure there was a smile on everyone face that heard him sing, Marcus also says he love the way a song comes to life on paper than gets to perform them, I've been blessed to be around some great song writer with incredible talent and wit that's what drives me. Marcus also adds, Being a black country artist in country music has it’s challenge but god gave me this direction for a reason, My dream is to be at the top of the country charts one day that’s my vision, I think times are more diverse today than ever!Marcus is married with a daughter that keeps him on the right track,They are behind me 100 percent! Marcus is a hard worker and motivated.He is a man determined to have a music career. Further proof of the wealth of musical talent emanating from outside of the M25, Eddy Luna is a gifted singer-songwriter matching raw, introspective lyrics about relationships and mental health with neo-soul and jazz-indebted production. Hailing from Dudley in the West Midlands, the 25-year-old draws from all corners and eras of music to form something completely unique and compelling.

 

Music runs through the veins of the Black Country artist; her whole family is musical. “My mum would always get me involved in church singing and my dad was a DJ so I was just surrounded by a mix of rare groove, lovers rock, reggae, dancehall, and jazz. I’m glad I had that combination.” Blessed with the same open-minded, curious nature, her own sound mirrors this – a cross-pollination of influences and styles, blending everything from the lush instrumentation of Flower Boy-era Tyler, the Creator, to the accomplished musicality of Hiatus Kaiyote.

 

Going deep on relationships and mental health issues in her lyrics, Eddy Luna describes debut project as a “taster of life experiences that not only I’ve had, I think everyone on the planet has.” Her first single, ‘Still Breathing’ – which boasts impressive vocal runs and rich instrumentation – was written during a bout of depression.


Designed to induce confidence and knowledge of self, Eddy Luna’s music aims to help and guide the listener through the dark times that she’s experienced first hand. “That's why I love music so much,” she says, “because it makes me feel different emotions, or acknowledge emotions that I didn't know were a thing in my life.”
