That's got such a lot of musical change (rhythm, melodies, textures)  this is how the 70s could have progressed but along came the punk annihilation!

In 1887 when he was 21, and before before his famous Gymnopodies and Gnossiennes had been completed, Erik Satie composed this first Sarabande as one of three he wrote for piano. At the time he was an impoverished conservatory dropout making his living as a piano player in bohemian taverns and cabarets like Le Chat Noir. The Sarabandes were not published until 1911 with the support of Ravel who also introduced and performed the second Sarabande in concert in 1911. Satie's sometime friend Debussy wrote orchestral arrangements of the piano Gymnopodies in 1897 and conducted them to Satie's great acclaim in 1911 in Paris. Here Berkeley composer Guillaume Pearson has written a lovely orchestral arrangement to accompany my two guitar version of Satie's 1st Sarabande. Hope you enjoy the quiet mystery and captivating harmony that attracted me.

Another unpretentious pop song. I kind of like the chorus and the instrumental bridge. It should be shorter, but it came out that way, with an extra minute.

I wrote this a couple of days ago and worked on the lyrics a bit then recorded just now on my phone. The starting point was thinking of a Syd Barrett lyric which mirrored Elvis "I don't care if the sun don't shine".

flowermouth = melancholic electronic music with spoken word poetry. 'flowermouth' refers to No-Man's inspirational debut album (Tim Bowness/ Steven Wilson)
flowermouth's hometown is Eindhoven, where the very first pioneers of electronic music started in 1957: Room 306, Basement Phillips Natlab Factory.

I like to add poetry, vocals, guitar and fieldrecordings from other artists to my songs.
The main instruments I play are bassguitar and keys.

Some of his tracks were broadcasted by BBC-6 Radio, Dutch Radio (B-FM) and published by American Art Magazines like -Moonchild and Theta Wave. Early 2021 his third album came out: "In a breath's length". Again with the help from American, Brittish, and for the first time also Dutch poets.
