Hank Rusch goes for the throat with this stripped down raucous rocker about a fugitive from injustice called The Innocent.  Hank creates a raw precision with his spare but loud use of only drums, bass, guitar. Sweet but grinding like frosting on a cake with a file inside Hank give us just desserts with his slide guitar work. Hank's voice brings an authentic dimension to the song as he recounts the first person story of a man wrongly convicted, escaped, on the run. It is a Suno rendition of the traditional Sanctus from the Latin Mass for the Dead, or Requiem. I must admit I was gasping when I heard the high notes their 'alto soloist' was able to reach.
