And please take it easy that I write less to him and I left a few more personal words about the Seasidetrip - as my beloved grandpa was telling me: »you know, little roland(son) to sailing is dead but the sailor has it done. cause a sailor has to what a sailor has to do. cause it has to do with passion and if you have passion you are the richest person of the world. It’s a hard job, but the moments on the deck when the wind blows in your face, when you hear the waves and you see the vastness of the sea, these moments will give you more than all the money in the world.« and so I devote a great part of my being and doing, my beloved grandparents. 

It started with a mix about emotions & music by the sea and that's the point till today. at the beginning captain https://soundcloud.com/rolandson did not think it would be 100mixes. this all (the mix-series, the netlabel - releases and showcases) is a result of a momentary feeling in 2012. music and to be at the ocean, It helped me through a hard time and I decided spontaneously to make it audible. in first case for me at second for friends. and yeah, some good friends liked the idea, became part of it, created their version and helped to understand some things.
And so, the Seasidetrip - Mixseries emerged and grew up and grew and brought me together with many lovely human beings. I am VERY THANKFUL for every journey, every listener and follower, for every comment and interaction … and I am grateful for everything that has come out of it - on negative or in a positive way - everything is part of that trip.

Yes, I think; for many of you, the Seasidetrip is about music and to bring wonderful sounds to your ears and into your hearts. and it’s good that it is what it is. but please, think by that: it’s not about: how many plays & likes each mix generates - it’s about: which story each mix tells - it’s all about the passion and not about a hype or a hip music direction. And in that, for me it is still a very personal project and journey - and that’s why it is so important to me, to knew each artist on deck and to stay in touch as much as i can. and if you agree with, you are highly WELCOME …

Da lässt du mal die Nummer 100 vom Stapel und schon überschlagen sich die Ereignisse. Käpt’n https://soundcloud.com/rolandson ist ein Gin-gestandener Seebär, doch die tagelange Sause auf dem Oberdeck hat selbst ihn dann in die Koje verwiesen und nur zum Luft schnuppern kurz raus gelassen. Während da also die hundertste Ausgabe unserer kleinen feinen Reihe die 7 Weltmeere kreuzt, flattern Huldigungen, Einladungen, Danksagungen und allerlei bunt zirpendes Musikgedöhns durch die Luke. Gut das wir uns schon letztes Jahr den liebenswerten https://soundcloud.com/garstique an Bord holten, denn er weiß, wie man eine torkelnde Crew vorm Absaufen bewahrt. So lässt er uns alle mit seiner langsamen Version von langsam, schnurstracks über die Planken schlaumeln - verschiebt das Raum Zeit Kontinuum und dreht mal eben alles von vorn nach hinten und mittendrin nochmal um 180 Grad. Alles klar? Ja, Nee - bei uns auch nicht. So versuchen wir uns seit Tagen mit seinem Mix auszukatern und freuen uns wie nach einer geglückten Kaperfahrt auf den April und den blauen Kater im Acidbogen. Doch Hier & Jetzt erstmal langsame Impulsionisationskammer - Musik, Aye.

We’re happy to freshen up another week start of yours! This time with the support of an uprising talent from Zurich behind the bar counter: Soma Soul’s Greek Paloma got it good…fasten your seatbelt for this energy bomb!

Hailing from Zurich, Soma Soul combines cinematic sounds with techno and electronica in his productions. His pure love for melancholic melodies and subtle rhythms are a perfect setting to get your body & soul connected. Etymologists amongst us may have spotted a hint for that aspiration by the artist's name: Soma means 'Body' in old Greek - as well as 'a ritual drink that can create euphoria' in the ancient language Sanskrit.

Despite his southern Italian origins, Sicily to be precise, it is the Nordic kind of mystic & cold rural areas that are Soma Soul’s preferred destinations to seek inspiration for his music. 

His debut EP has been released in 2018 on Jonas Rathsman's 'Elements' imprint and quickly created a buzz on dancefloors around the world while being played & supported by the likes of &ME, BOg, Villanova and many more. With his past and upcoming productions on labels such as ATLANT, Hoito, Endless, Endangered or Radiant, Soma Soul's continues to move bodies & souls - with music beyond any genres.
 
It was his extraordinary hymn named “Eclipse”, out on Swiss Label Radiant last year, that got our attention, and goose bumps! Both, in the wonderful original mix but also the more danceable remix by the Edu Imbernon. 

Have a sip and enjoy this hour of energizing electronica and techno.

It all began at the best underground club of Berlin where the 2 girls met in 2014. 

They developed their deep musical connection and friendship out of their love for raves. Cultivated by the Drosssel label, they were thrown out into the DJ industry and since then try to make the dancefloors they fill, into a crazy and unique place. 

2 Girls 1 Club try to embody the sound of female self confidence mixed with different styles, voices and a lot of self humor.

They are part of the Leipzig based slowereastside collective as well.
