Tell Me Why X Nachts Wach (WAVEX TechnoMashup)

It's about time again, our eighth compilation finally sees the light of day. It is peppered with wonderful pearls from the most diverse styles of the downtempo coast and, as always, is intended to reflect the variety of our favorite genre.

Again, we tried to find the right mix between friends who have been with us for a long time and have been shaping the downtempo scene for years, paired with a large number of newcomers who convinced us with their sound quality and approach to production.

The compilation was mastered by our engineer of trust Haunted Water and the signature artwork was contributed as always by Kilian Van De Water. Enjoy listening.

Established by Bønehead in 2021, New Delhi based community driven record label, magazine & internet radio - Bøne.FM presents the label’s debut compilation with the effort of artists from around the world showcasing their most ambitious work. Being a genre fluid label the V/A goes from progressive ambient to bass fueled club tracks, melodic house tunes and some experimental work in between. This makes the listener’s experience a quite fulfilling journey.


The creativity of Bird's sounds is majorly influenced by blending a variety of genres, and intelligently intertwining warm and tight baselines with psychedelic, rock, ambient and experimental cinematic textures, finding a sweet spot between groovy, edgy, hypnotic and forward thinking music allowing the listeners to go under a sonic realm.
