As hip-hop culture continues to grow and expand globally, few up and coming artist

possess the grit, versatility and lyrical prowess as FlowSo. Born in Memphis, TN,

FlowSo is the musical off-spring of storied southern legends such as 8ball & MJG,

Outkast, and Lil Wayne. FlowSo’s unorthodox delivery of jaw-dropping rhymes for the

die-hard hip-hop fan and uncanny ability to connect to a broader female audience with

his smooth a sultry late 90s R&B overtones provide an experience for his listeners that

can only be described as one of a kind.

Stepping onto the music scene in early 2007, under the moniker, Niqe, FlowSo was

originally formed as an organic hip-hop group with one of his best friends from high

school. After a few years of local performances, the group disbanded and FlowSo

began releasing solo projects with various local artists including k97’s Next Big Thing

winner Virghost and Memphis legend Tom Skeemask. FlowSo began gaining local

notoriety after performing at a myriad of business mixers & concerts at various marquee

venues in Memphis, including the Rumba Lounge, New Daisy Theatre, and Minglewood

Hall. In Early 2014, FlowSo released a heart-wrenching ode to the current state of race-

relations in the U.S. called “Look at how they doin’ us,” he was invited to attend a

private luncheon with Minister Louis Farrakhan and a host of Memphis artists. He is

currently working to complete his first solo project which is set to be released in early

2016 following the release of his new single ‘Clutch.”

Raised in a Southern Baptist church choir and heavily influenced by Memphis Soul, Edwards blends a raw mix of classic soul and modern R&B. A respected talent in the Memphis underground scene, he balances songwriting and producing with work and marriage (the inspiration for his music).  

Durand ‘Virghost’ Somerville is a rapper, spoken word artist, and songwriter hailing from Memphis TN. 

In 2013, Virghost won the K97’s (WHRK Memphis) “Next Big Thing” competition and from there Virghost continued to perform in front of captivated audiences throughout the south, honing his skill as a performing artist, and growing a loyal and supportive fan base. Virghost has opened shows for major recording artists such as Juicy J, French Montana, Ro James, and Rocko. 

Virghost has worked to perfect his craft as a Hip-Hop recording artist and songwriter releasing 13 studio projects including 5 albums, 4 EP's, and 4 mix-tapes, He has also had two singles receive airplay in Memphis and Nashville, “Be With Out You” K97 (WHRK Memphis) and “Titan Up” 101.1 (WUBT Nashville).

Virghost’s most recent studio album, “No Sleep Under The Circumstances” (April 2017), showcases his exceptional artistry and songwriting. Virghost’s power to pull creativity from personal experiences and use it to illustrate the complexities of his passions and vices are unrivaled.
