While I like this song, I feel like an “Unnecessary Tension” replacement isn’t really needed. This is more of a problem I have with the Undertale au community as a whole, but not every au has to have sequences similar to Undertale or songs that “replace” Undertale ones. In this case, I think the concept is interesting, but I feel like this song shouldn’t try to “replace” unnecessary tension, if that makes sense.

Sans takes the role of Toriel. He’s well-known among monsters in the Flooded City for his jokes and laid-back attitude. He also keeps watch over the city’s Old Factory (the Ruins replacement), because some monsters have been hanging around there in refuge from the rain and he wants to make sure everyone’s safe.

Speaking of areas, in this AU, areas swap in two ways: season-wise and aesthetics/style-wise. Here, the Ruins replacement (Old Factory/Flooded City) swaps seasons with Waterfall (Fall <> Spring), but swaps aesthetics with CORE (ruins <> factory).

Ruins swaps aesthetics with CORE and seasons with Waterfall, and is now called the Old Factory. It's the run-down industrial center of Skelmurr City, named after the skeleton royal family and Dreemurr family’s union to help monsterkind in their darkest hour. It was the first settlement of monsters before they travelled further into the underground. Since run-off water always pours into the area, the area is now often referred to as the “Flooded City”. In the factory, there’s run-down gears and mechanisms, some of which serve as parts of puzzles for our fallen human to solve! But there’s always the risk presented by watery traps and runs-ins with local monsters roaming around the factory...
