Trumresa Galterö 2015

It’s been a while since we heard about Kurt Baggaley: A very creative producer from Uk.
This guy is active since early 00’s and has been self-releasing most of his music. A lifelong dedication that brought hundreds of wonderful tracks under several names. He gained attention under the alias Scape One writing for various electro and techno labels in the early 2000’s. He also writes under guises as Tau Sagitarii, Dr Futurist and Tactical Systems and somehow all his productions are connected, part of the same research yet pretty distinct. 

That’s why we proposed Kurt to go for a 2 parts Ep as we did for few projects recently. First, as Kurt Baggaley, his real name and the project where the man indulges in magical flights of synth layers paving the way for delicate arpeggios and brilliant unexpected sound intrusions. We meant to make a beautiful artist-defining selection and so pick the 5 tracks that could illustrate best his amazing sound.
2nd part, Scape One - Same guy but this is definitely more hectic and insane. You can hear a wide range of influences as he mentions himself: Afrika Bambaataa, Cybotron, Tangerine Dream, Newcleus, Art Of Noise, Human League, Kraftwerk, Ultravox, Larry Heard. We were completely stuck when we first heard these tracks, "Fall Into The Sky" feels like that astonishing epic break track you have always been looking for and here it is! Part.2 coming soon.

After a number of recent premieres we are back to our go to Podcasts and we have högt i tak from Sweden with number 111. We like different and we have got different. A mix focusing on the darker side of disco and industrial sounds, we can definitely let loose during the sun down throughout this mix. Janne who likes to describe his music as "Trailer techno with a pinch of psychedelic disco and acid masala" will ensure you are in for a discovery into his music universe. 

A few words from the artist himself: 

Högt i Tak is Janne from Brännö Sweden, member of the dj and production crew Trailer Trash Disco. This mix is a rather dark journey through an industrial sunset, but in some parts you can hear the sun rays coming through. Enjoy!
