The debut single from NZ’s THE AFTER titled CLEAR TO ME is being released worldwide through MCA/Universal Music Group

The Music Video for CLEAR TO ME made its global television debut and is now playing on NZ’s legendary (and recently re-launched) Music TV Channel, JUICE TV on 21/01/21 https://www.juicetv.live

Recorded in Brisbane at Red Engine Studios, CLEAR TO ME was produced, engineered and mixed by Grammy Nominated, Aria winning UK producer STEVE JAMES (Sex Pistols, Monty Python, Toyah Wilcox, Phil Lynott, Ginger Baker, Screaming Jets, and NZ’s Weta’s well known album Geographica; plus many more) and mastered by Matt Grey @ Matt Grey Mastering, Brisbane.

THE AFTER is the musical project from Auckland based musician/songwriter/promoter, ANDREW FEATHERSTONE.  ‘Clear to Me was composed during a period in my life when my son, River had just been born and I had too many things happening in my life, living in my recording/rehearsal studios complex and juggling global projects. So, one day my family and I got in the car. I took an acoustic guitar, drum machine and 4 track recorder, drove North with no plans - just escaped and found a ‘house down by the ocean’ (the opening lyric) to get away from everything and reflect; the subject matter still feels relevant today, especially in recent times’.
‘It’s been a well-received song live and I am proud of the production we have achieved, to work with such talented musicians and alongside such a world class producer and to have it released through Universal’.

Andrew is not new to the music world having supported thousands of bands through his Battle of the Bands project with 26 years of BOTB events. He has also a long career in his own bands; Hangar 18, Kosher and Adrenalin. He is also an active tour promoter. Andrew has set up International tours for many NZ and foreign artists. Recent years has seen him touring (the BOTB winners and his own bands) in Asia, Australia and NZ. Over the years Andrew has performed alongside No Doubt (US), Collective Soul (US), Ocean Colour Scene (UK), Silverchair (AUS), Everclear (US), as well as The Unity Hong Kong Handover Concert, Sweetwaters & Mountain Rock Festivals plus many other tours and events.
During 2020, THE AFTER’s live band toured NZ twice whilst most of the global live music industry was at a stand-still. The Asia & Australia legs of the Asia Pacific Tour planned for 2020 were postponed with Asia tour dates now rescheduled for August and September 2021. The band will be touring in Japan, The Philippines, Hong Kong, Macau & Singapore.
