Sus ojos, taladran con gracia el pensamiento de,
quien hipnotizado cae en su embrujo.
Hablan y murmullan de su gran talento en equilibrio,
mas es torpe y gracioso en sus movimientos.
No verás a un gato, dar amor a cualquiera,
te lo has de merecer, pues caro vende su perdón ante la tropelía de ponerle tarde la comida.
Majestuosa sombra nocturna, cuyos ojos relampaguean,
no es un animal, sino una linterna.
Maullidos lanza a la luna, creyéndose pantera, tigre o león,
pero con su tamaño, solo asusta al ratón.
Es el gato, dueño de la luna,
que no así de sus deseos de ser quien al mundo domina.
