I was born in 1969 and grew up listening to the radio and the music my Mom played. Good thing she had great taste in music and a ton of records.

These Memories mixes are in approximate chronological order allowing for song choice, flow, mixing order, and keeping like songs in complimentary keys.

After each track I try my best to credit the underlying work and the year of its release.

I am a House DJ, so all of the tracks I have acquired over the years, be it vinyl or digital, are remixed at dance floor bpm.

This is the sixth of a multi-volume journey through musical memories from the last millennium.

These polished memories are from my College years mostly. I started DJing in 1987 at WRCU 90.1 FM at Colgate. I played (not mixed mind you) the best alternative vinyl, both domestics and imports.  I was a huge supporter of the Manchester sound from very far away.

I spent the summer of 1990 in NYC. My friends and I would regularly wind up at the Limelight - an old church all lit in green, converted to a club that played the best music. This was the Summer of Deee-Lite and the DJs (who I never thought to pay attention to) rocked my world, always deep and thumping, but mixing in hits of the time.
