of PREMIERE: German Tedesco - Matter of Perspective (Julian Liander & Mauro Masi Remix) [AMITABHA]

Lisandro has become a firm favourite with the Proton faithful through his meticulously crafted music and elegant melodies. At the forefront of the underground dance scene with his smorgasbord of influences and genre-defying work, the Argentinean producer has seen his work feature on such esteemed imprints as Songuara, Amulanga and Pablo Bolivar's Seven Villas. A notable body of work can also be found on Lisandro's own Flug Lab imprint which continues to go from strength to strength as over a half-century of production credits chart a maturing path. No more is this evident than in February 2023's "Recurrence Soundtracks Netflix" which showcases a dozen electronica inspired pieces that formed the sonic background for the Netflix Spanish language film of the same name.

Proton Music has also seen the Lisandro sound well represented by both original and remix work. A trio of remixes for Erdi Irmak, Magitman and Cream saw the Buenos Aires resident make his presence felt in 2020 and 2021, before December 2022's "Traditions" took centre stage with its luscious soundscapes and head-shaking grooves.

Now returning to Proton Music, the "Eclectic" EP highlights another three tracks rich in imagination and elegant production work. In this musical triptych, Lisandro has explored a host of new ideas, giving rise to a powerful vision and unique sonic identity by pushing the envelope of modern electronic music. Perhaps the last word should be left to the artist himself, with Lisandro having the following to say about his new musical offering.

"I present to you my new EP: "Eclectic". This title reflects my vision of creating music that is a fusion of diverse influences and styles. "Eclectic" is a term used in the musical context to describe an approach that encompasses a wide range of influences and genres, blending them in a unique and original way. In this EP, I have pushed the boundaries of electronic music, merging elements from different genres to create an intriguing and diverse listening experience. Each track in "Eclectic" represents my passion for experimentation and the creation of unique sonic landscapes and club grooves. Immerse yourself in my eclectic musical world and discover the magic of style fusion! As an artist, I am thrilled to share this EP with you, and I hope you enjoy this musical journey as much as I did creating it. Thank you for your support, and I hope you find inspiration in this EP, "Eclectic".

roku opens the new year with a fresh collaboration from label boss @DaLuka and rising talent @ElectricDada. Hailing from Albania, Da Luka emerged from his country's electronic music landscape just over a decade ago. Whether operating in solo capacity or alongside occasional production partner Jorgio Kioris, Da Luka's creative vision would summon the praise of progressive music tastemakers Cid Inc, Guy J, Eelke Kleijn, Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren and more, in turn leading to releases via Droid9, Juicebox Music, Movement Recordings and WARPP. Choosing his projects wisely across 2023, the year would prove to be impactful for the Berat resident, with the formation and subsequent success of roku, along with key releases via Electronic Groove and Mango Alley. Meanwhile, made up of German artists Jan de Vice and JP Silence, the Electric Dada alias was revealed to the world in 2020. The duo's progressive style was immediately recognized for its emotive qualities and strong dancefloor sensibility. A transcendent sound which would see them go on to release key projects via Clubsonica, Dopamine White, Massive Harmony and Univack, while also earning praise from the underground's premiere tastemakers. Having been paired together once previously for a release via Electronic Groove, Da Luka and Electric Dada combine their extensive forces once again, getting 2024 off to a strong start with ‘Rubicon', alongside remixes from @Subandrio and @FortyCats

Next on AMITABHA we welcome back two talented producer-duos from Buenos Aires and Córdoba, who bring their fresh organic and progressive house interpretations of German Tedesco´s 'Matter of Perspective'. Mauro Masi made his debut on the label in 2020 with the well received 'Bonwa /Naisha', premiered by Bodai during her live-streamed Dj Set at Amsterdam Dance Event with Frisky Radio. His next appearance was with 'Purity', out in the Deep & Natural, Vol.2, joining forces with Julian Liander and premiered by Hernan Cattaneo on his RESIDENT Show. Holding releases on Lost Desert's Souksonic, the Argentinian duo returned last year with two organic gems called 'Djambore / Dabha'. Their Remix of Matter of Perspective is the perfect piece to warm up dancefloors and open air venues. RoMi (AR) made a massive duo debut in the Deep & Natural, Vol. 6, with 'Smile'. A quality-crafted soulful track very well received by the label community around the globe. The producer duo from Cordoba return now with a strong-vibe Remix, showcasing their progressive influences.
