Following on from the success of Folding Leaves, Jerome has created something that encapsulates the folksy ambience of previous releases whilst adding an electronic dimension. Building layer upon layer, songs evolve with a fragile intensity. Vocal melodies are draped over string and guitar arrangements and end up soaring over them, at the same time lending a hook instantly recognisable as Message To Bears and blending harmoniously with the arrangement.

The overall result of Maps is something that is both startling and familiar. You are drawn in, given a map if you will, and invited on a musical journey that nods to Message to Bears' past but also leads to the future.'

Radiant Dharma Light｜Music Description (English)

A cleansing cosmic healing ambient track that feels like “Buddha light” gently flooding the space. It opens with ultra-slow airy drones and warm luminous pads, creating a soft golden halo around the listener. There’s no beat and no rhythmic pulse—only spacious, calm breathing swells that naturally slow your mind and heart.

As it unfolds, subtle crystal singing bowls / Tibetan bowl overtones and distant bell chimes appear like tiny points of light, then dissolve back into silence. The arrangement stays minimal with lots of clean negative space—no lead melody, no sharp highs, no heavy bass—so the sound feels pure, safe, and deeply soothing.

A very subtle frequency bed supports the intention: 432Hz for grounding stability, 528Hz for heart-warming renewal, and a faint 963Hz “halo shimmer” for clarity and uplift—smooth and rounded, never piercing. The structure is a long fade-in (30–45s) → steady radiant plateau → gentle upward brightening (as if the light expands) → slow fade-out, leaving the room feeling cleansed, protected, and filled with positive energy.
