Hidekazu Imashige aka Gallery Six is an artist and composer who lives in Hiroshima, Japan.

Creating fragile ambient textures and experimental sounds based on his thought that “Everything in the world has two faces, so we need to watch them from both sides”, his sound combines elements such as beauty and dirty or light and dark. His musical research is aimed at exploring the relationship between the opposite, incorporating a wide range of source materials including field recordings, noises or glitches.

Based in Hiroshima, Japan, stabilo is the solo project of Yasutica Horibe.He plays the guitar in the band, 'speaker gain teardrop', which is based in Hiroshima.'stabilo' was born when he started making music that was difficult to be expressed by this band using the laptop from 2002. Taken Apart is a document of the city and the human psyche and 21st century social politics. It incorporates sequences of concrete sound collages and reportage-like location recordings set against layers of string, synth and choir. The follow up to 2015’s Broken Memory Machine, Taken Apart shares many of it’s predecessors traits. However, the reflective romanticism is gone – if Broken Memory Machine told a story from the past, Taken Apart unfolds right here in the wide eyed present, with the listener at the white hot centre of it all.

Crisopa’s original 2017 release of Transhumante (via the Sound in Silence label) presented an immersive suite of deeply evocative and melodic ambient electronica. The new extended version of the album includes six beautiful new additions, bathing the listener in waves of ecstatic synth swells, textural loops and insistent rhythms. These surging, emotive tracks simultaneously summon forth aching nostalgia and a blissful state of hopefulness. Anyone who enjoys deep, vivid electronica in the vein of Boards of Canada, Manual and Hammock will find themselves right at home in Crisopa’s beatific compositions.

This is a series of sketch-like works that arose out of the need for me to create an atmosphere when working in the studio. A loop would be made then I'd start the prep work for that session. The loop may even inspire the output and work created for that day.
