'We kick 2019 off presenting a local talent from Juarez, Mexico. Josta is well-known to the Electronic Music fan-base, being the Edge City Radio Show's host and one of the current Hardpop's resident DJs. He delivers his first solo EP entitled 'A View From Afar'.

'A View From Afar' original mix is humored by a deep beat surrounded by melodic arpeggios in harmony with tasteful synths. 

Ukraine's musician and producer Lessovsky delivers an inspiring remixed version of 'A View From Afar' giving a melancholic twist to the track, flavored by deeper synths and dusky sounds combined with unnerving vocals.

Josta closes the pack with his second original work, 'Adrastea', curated by emotional arpeggios dyed with sweet vocals and breezy melodies led by a steady beat that summons your magic sense, perfectly suitable for a closing set.'

As the Southern Hemisphere inches towards summer, Sanoi and Rattler have delivered a perfect soundtrack for long days dancing in the Antipodean sun. Sampling Edwin Starr and channelling El Topo, 'Walking' is a gritty, galloping hero's journey into the sweatiest expanses of the deep house desert.

Sanoi is a Berlin artist now residing in New Zealand, where he's spent the last two years churning out festival-friendly releases for Bar 25, Stil Vor Talent, and Beat & Path. There's a strong theme of desert enlightenment running through Sanoi's repertoire, and this should appeal to fans of Sol Selectas, Acid Pauli and Bedouin.

For the A-side, Sanoi joins up with Jake Rattler from Waihi Beach, a festival regular whose 'Ball Pit' sessions on Noize Radio deliver strong underground deep house. Between them, Sanoi and Rattler have created something pulsating and groove-centred while tilting towards mysticism. A real behemoth of a bassline – all sinews and stomping feet – pulls the track along until Starr's lyrics drop in. At the same moment, a shimmering arpeggio starts to rise, offsetting the grunt of the track's low end. The rest of the track is a joyous tumble between these elements, celestial and gristly all at once, like a perfect day's dancing at a dusty midsummer festival.
