Well Measured Vice is the next track from the London based Electronica duo, The Correspondents. After a worldwide festival season in the summer of 2012, The Correspondents set out to record their first album and were only able to do so due to lead MC and vocalist, Mr Brice, breaking his foot whilst in Croatia headlining Saturday night at Stop Making Sense festival. For the first time in four years Chucks and Mr Bruce have been able to spend ample time in the studio and the results are simply mind blowing.

Taken from their first artist album due for release next year, Well Measured Vice is a 4-minute sample of what The Correspondents have been working towards their whole musical career. Get ready.

The Canadian DJ/Production Duo Zeds Dead, made up of members DC and Hooks will release their Hot Sauce EP via Diplo’s Mad Decent label on January 29. The follow-up to last year’s Mad Decent EP, Victor, features 5 instrumental tracks that find the duo exploring more sonic territory with their music, further proving that they are one of the most versatile electronic groups around. From the opener, “Demons”, a nightmare inducing track with heavy, pulsating synths as well as keys and strings plucked straight from classic horror films to “Mr. Sub”, which displays a more minimalist approach from the duo with a bouncing bass and touches of space-disco synths and “Rave” a breakbeat monster that hits so fast they put in an audible breaths to remind listeners to take one themselves. Also, coming will be a video from acclaimed “Black Swan” choreographer Benjamin Millepied. This no hold barred approach to electronic music has posed Zeds Dead as one to keepan eye on in the year ahead.

Gianni Siravo or to most of you better known as Washerman released his first 12" 2 years ago on Drumpoet Community, his "Basement Chord + Dub" gained him an excellent reputation. Since then he released records on various labels such as King Street, founded 2 labels (Traxx Underground + Deep Down Slam) and remixed people like Peven Everett. But Gianni is not new to the business, in the late 90's he was at the forefront of twisted house with his project Sequel and a couple of years ago with Azuni. This man's got the groove and you can expect his first album this year. As a DJ he travels the world constantly and has built himself a huge following.
This friday he will play with his buddie Jeremy Underground Paris at Zukunft. Get into the groove!
