This is a journey through different atmospheres and moods: cheeky and quirky, from dark to melodic... 130bpm all the way, most likely to be enjoyed during the day. Mixed on 2x CDJ850 and DJM350. 

For some time, I've been collecting slow and groovy psychedelic trance that I, now, put together. Not my usual style, but I've been asked to play this softer side along the years. and I cannot refuse a challenge. I always have something ready, just in case... ;) 

This djset is based on a few others I've played at alternative floors in the last months: MoDem London teaser and altechnative floor at Connection 2017 (an epic 4-hours set) I hope you enjoy the trip :)

DJ TechElf - Deeper Face (Psytech) Nov'17

This new djset is a mix of wonky tunes for the techy heads. With a trancey background and lots of techno elements, this is a crossover of psychedelic sounds at 130bpm, sometimes darker, sometimes lighter, always quirky and with a lot of story going on. A very nice journey through slow psychedelia :)

This selection is inspired by the new wave of technoid sounds and very suitable to be played at psychedelic alternative stages, where have been tested during the last year.

Djset played at Metamorphosis party in the english countryside in June 2019. Lush event by Urban Tribe where I performed twice, one of them, this psychedelic techno selection. This is an extract from a 2 hours set

Santy is Fluoelf, a nomadic psytrance Dj from Spain! Actually living in London!

We met him at many festivals this year, he is often working as a stage manager or is playing himself. He is a big part of Transition Festival for years.. He played at our Promotion Party in Leipzig @ elipamanoke in November !!!

Now proud member of Anarkick records, I upload this djset to celebrate it.
This set was played in London at the Dance Culture birthday event, Supernatural, on 29/02/2020.
This was a special one as I started the beats after a gong bath. I was asked to start with some tribalistic approach and I selected a few chanting from around the world and some beats a bit far from my own techno style. Broke some boundaries and made me research deeply for a different view. The outcome was good and people had a good transition into real matters.

Santy is Fluoelf, a psytrance Dj and producer from Spain. He has been spinning since 2001, being part of the local scenes in Amsterdam, Barcelona and London.

From an early age, he was heavily influenced by 60s classic and psychedelic rock. It was when he moved to Amsterdam in 2001 that he got in contact with rave culture and psychedelic trance, a complete life changing experience. Right after his first party, it took him a month to start organizing them and 3 to start mixing with the good old cdjs100. He has developed a mixing and storytelling technique that is ever changing and evolving from the very beginning to this day.

His love for underground music has kept him always on the move, constantly evolving and with an experimental edge. He started playing minimalistic psy and after that he added more recent styles to his repertory: darkprog/psygressive since 2005, twilight/forest since 2010 and psychedelic techno since 2013.

In his performances he uses a blend of these different substyles and he plays them according to the time of the day and the music that surrounds him. The result, new djsets for every new  dancefloor. Sets that evolves in waves, progressively increasing or decreasing, creating an hypnotic flow with a very personal and  psychedelic style. 

Fluoelf is part of Intermind Records and Resina Records. He has released compilations at Occulta, Parasomnia, Uroboros and Woodog. He was also producing for a few years, releasing a few tracks and collabs at Uroboros, Glitchy Tonic and Transition records.

Nowadays, he is based in London, where he travels all over Europe and worldwide, delivering his sets to a wide range of events, including: Freqs of Nature(DE), Lost Theory (ES), Modem (HR), Masters of Puppets (CZ), Symbiosis (US), Triplicity (UK), Son Libre (Fr), Solstice (NL), Transition (ES-resident), Own Spirit (ES) and many other festivals and parties.

You can find him with a fun attitude in the dancefloor and behind the decks. Expect something different every time...

TechElf is Fluoelf techno side project. It was born in 2023 after 10 years experimenting and playing at parties under the same name. It took some time, but after all, a separation was needed as the project is mature and ready to contain by itself.
TechElf style varies with the parties he performs at. It's usually very percussive and leaning to the serious side, but not necessary dark. He mainly plays psy and minimal techno, but his range is wider and can reach progressive techno and he is working on introducing dark techno and other substyles in upcoming sets. He will definitely experiment further, now that he is free from psy duties from his main and most known project.
