Tango, originating from the streets of 18th century Buenos Aires in Argentina and Montevideo in Uruguay, is known as being one of the more difficult dances to learn. The timing can be hard to master. What makes tango unique as a dance form is its embrace and use of improvisation.

Tuoll' On Mun Kultani is a melacholic love song from Finland 

The Story ... Traditional Finnish folk song, Tuoll On Mun Kultani (There Goes My Sweetheart) talks of the longing heart for the true love that may never come. She walks the ground of the king (hence may be inaccessible to the, we assume, to a man of lesser stature. There is trust, and fantasized? reciprocal love nevertheless (love is not unrequited). Whilst there (in the King's Court) are many lasses and handsome men, my sweetheart's eyes will never gaze upon them.

Music is the astounding, confounding, awe-inspiring, sometimes perplexing world of emotional soundscaping where every composer gets the same chromatic scale of 12 notes and arranges them in pleasant sequences and clusters along a timeline to convey emotions. And it’s stunning what musical storytellers like Vivaldi vs Stravinsky vs Lennon vs Los Incas vs Marley convey with exactly the same palette of 12 notes. Nourishing gifts to our brains ... as fMRI shows, the brain of a musician lights up and makes new connections like nobody's business. And Friedrich was bang on when he said ...

I had the good fortune to grow up in a very musical family, and cousins who are film composers ... car rides were filled with singing in three-part harmony ... and music ... with all kinds of instruments, duets, and especially choir singing, has been a huge part of growing up. 

At present, I am a composer, multi-instrumentalist, choir singer, and 'producer-in-learning' based in Toronto Canada with an interest in symphonic and cinematic composing for my own Micromovies (see my YouTube channel: bit.ly/2yyCwgw). Many simpler arrangements for flute, guitar, bass, and strings are on this site. I also have leaky-brain chromesthesia, a form of involuntary sound-to-color synesthesia ... I "see" music as colors, patterns and shapes.
