Here is part one of a selection of demos that were never released from way back when I first started producing, available for free!⁣

🟥 1. Accadia - Into The Dawn (steve Callaghan Remix) [2009]⁣
⁣
Whilst working on the 'Euphoria' project at university (check that out via MixCloud), I was getting a little overwhelmed with working on one idea, so I decided to take a week long break from the project and work on a random remix and this was the result.⁣
⁣
The track was almost signed by a well known producer who shall remain nameless, who told me if I made it sound 'more like Deadmau5' he would snap it up. I declined to sell out and the track gathered dust in the archives. In hindsight it might have actually worked better with eight note plucks but hey here we are!⁣

🟧 2. BBE - Seven Days and One Week (F.O.X Remix) [2004]⁣
⁣
This track was an alias I was throwing around at the time (clearly more X-files influences!) and it was a remix of one of my all time favourite dance tracks. I remember some very happy memories playing this one out back in the day!⁣

🟨 3. Colin Barrett vs Shinra - Factor 15 [2004]⁣
⁣
Myself and Colin went to the same music college, and I was always amazed by his production ability, he was rising the ranks at Tidy Traxx and I had a great time working on this track with him. It was an idea I had knocking around at home, but it was once we got our heads together in the studio it really came to life, I learnt a lot from those⁣ sessions, yes it's named after sunblock, and yes I named myself Shinra because I was obsessed with Final Fanatsy 7!

🟩 4. George Michael vs Sasha - Outside Xpander [2002]⁣
⁣
When I knew very little about production, and just after I started college, I cut my teeth throwing acapellas on instrumentals to understand daws and arrangements. Mash Ups were very popular at the time and as George Michael and Sasha were basically my two favourite things, I threw this together. It's not my greatest idea, but hey I was just starting out OK?!⁣

Also the irony of the lyrics 'let's go outside' during a worldwide lockdown is not lost on me right now 😆⁣

Colin Barrett vs Shinra - Factor 15 [2004]

The London legend returns to HQ. The tough edged uplifting skills of Nicholson are in full effect on 'Dirty Lil B*stard'. A mindblowing modern version of a classic 1999 sounding lead melody and plenty of acid and groove throughout. The sample is so cheeky, it needed a 'bleep'! This track is peak time, defined!

Costa Pantazis returns to the arena with 'Kallocain,' another uplifting and melodic trancer with a forward-thinking arrangements, a killer lead and a wicked hands in the air breakdown that really stands out from the crowd.  NG Rezonance steps up to deliver a remix in his more harder trance style - uplifting riffs and peak time euphoria being the order of the day. Essential!
