Ammo the Don, aka Trap G’zus is a hip-hop artist with deep musical roots. Growing up, there was always music playing in his house and Ammo started playing the piano at age 5, but by 9 years old he was playing Wu-Tang’s C.R.E.A.M. instead of practicing Chopin. GDM Entertainment was established in 2006 and was an answer to the lack of support and exposure that he recognized for artists in Connecticut. Even though he had been interested in rap and hip-hop since the age of 9, he did not have any guidance or resources to help him to make a path for his dreams. Lack of finances and lack of resources lead him to turn to the streets as a way to make money. Boat People International represents the pride and spirit of Ammo’s heritage. “Growing up, they used to call Haitians “boat people” and say we came to this country on rafts and inner tubes, but as far as I knew, all my family got here on planes. I took that as a challenge, Ok, I’ll show you what boat people can do….Boat People also represents the slave ships that brought the slaves over. One of the boats heavily used in the slave trade was called the “Jesus”. Our boat, the “Trap G’zus” is made to represent a return to consciousness and freedom from the many bondages that we as a people are burdened.”

growing up in the late nineties and early 2000s in New York City gave me culture differences that inspired me to make music. music was the only thing we had.  I support everyone who doesn't just follow what the next person is doing believe in yourself I bring a melodic rap flow to life .🧬🚀😈🕊️
