We don't know who Your Ex is (lol) but what we do know is that they go beautifully deep here across a pair of jazz-tinged and seductive deep house delights. First up is 'Lima' which opens with swirling pads and steamy sax motifs that drift up top and mean love is in the air as the lush chords melt the soul.

When it comes to electro and acid, dutch label Shipwrec can't do no wrong ! This time they roll out its new remix series with a serious slab of electro red meat. The main course is served by a machine music master, talented french producer Fred Umwelt. And what else would the serving be but the rawest of electro, coarsened by surging acid and slicing snares. Accompanying the original are a triumvirate of talent ; The Exaltics, Eomac and Ekman, here premiered, ratcheting up those sticky 303 lines whilst adding his own mischief and menace for a mind-bending mix. As part of our ongoing Aus Music Debut series, we’re thrilled to present “Decompression Suite” – a riveting piece from longstanding Aus Music comrade Harry Aguis (aka Midland). A name that needs little introduction, Midland is known for propelling varied, interesting sounds out into the electronic music field; and has helped fuel the V12 engine that is Aus Music with releases such as “What We Know” and “Reflex”.

Still revelling in last summer’s glory of “Blush“, Midland’s newest track serves as a medley of musical layers. Heavily textural, echoes of panning high-hat hits lay amidst quivering bass tones to provide the foundations of the piece, which is then uplifted by ethereal sweeping synths. The track reaches new heights with the injection of a gripping bass line. All develop and manifest into a truly immersive whole, which slowly evaporates as gradually and neatly as its initial growth.

Born in Siberia and spent most of my childhood in Moldova I was exposed to a variety of folk and ethnic music. I always thoroughly enjoyed playing with my stereo and drumming to the rhythms using house chairs. Music always fascinated me as a tool of transformation into a different reality. I began my DJ carrier playing tunes at the house parties and friend’s birthdays and weddings. I live in NYC now more then two decades and consider myself a New Yorker. I organize dozens of concerts and parties in NYC each year. My music interests vary, I like to play across the board Ska, Reggae, Rocksteady, Jazzy Hip-Hop, Afro Beat, Funk, Disco, Retro, World music. I collect Vinyl Records. I love setting the dance floor on fire using my unique mixture of world rhythms. I produced “Swingin’Penguin” Electro Swing Parties, Soviet 80′s Parties, as well Multiple Live Concerts and Events.
