On 17/03/2021 I was pushed out of my bed by those great rumbles of mother earth, another amazing paroxysm from Mount Etna. 
It was only 4 a.m. and through the dawn of a new day small birds started to wake up and sing adding some drama to the scene, dogs started barking frightened by the explosions, and a rooster or two made it clear that it was going to be a good morning.

GOOD MORNING ETNA

4:30 a.m. Etna Explosions

I applied the envelope of "OrganCrickets" by @fluxmonket to the timbre of Equinox Deschanel @JoeMcMahon  "Stridula" using a great 'morphing' plugin called Envy. The results sounded like several different insects, so I made many layers of them and placed them beside a river recording to create a little relaxing summer soundscape.

Unedited segment of the May 11 captures of the class X gemomagnetic that rocked the skies with so many auroras.  Returning yesterday, May 13, to the open meadow location where this unedited recording took place, dooning the hadphones and flpping the switch, there was nowhere near the amount of activity as on May 11, underlining again the uniqueness of the event itself which astronomer's are saying is the strongest in 21 years and comparable to the Carrington event.
