Hailing from Eastover, South Carolina, BIG FIT is a recording artist who began his musical career in the late 90's as a member of rap group StreetSide under the stage name Misfit. While garnering some regional success with singles "We Got Dat" (1999), "South Cakalaki" (2003) and "Rollin" (2005), it was the 2001 release of StreetSide’s "The Heat" which featured him in a solo capacity, propelling BIG FIT into the southern Hip-Hop spotlight. Selling over 5,000 units of The Heat out of his own trunk, BIG FIT has shared the stage with some of hip-hop's most impactful artists, opening for many legends that include: Notorious BIG, Ludacris, Trina, Da Brat, Talib Kwali, Tela, DJ Taz, and Pastor Troy. 

BIG FIT took a self-imposed hiatus from actively making music in 2006 to pursue other creative endeavors, releasing several fictional books within the fantasy and action/adventure genres. During his time away from being a fulltime musician, BIG FIT was still lending his voice to several feature collaborations. Then BIG FIT returned in 2020 with the double mixtape I Can do Anything, mixed by Carolina Hip-Hop legend DJ Kingpin V.O.V. He dropped the single NOT ME in 2024 and the full length album STILLUVAH in early 2025.

Known for multi-syllabic wordplay, precision delivery and wide variety of subject matter. BIG FIT's delivers all three with his latest release entitled Stilluvah (Still Love Her). The 10-track offering serves as in ode to one of his first loves, Hip-Hop, while simultaneously announcing his return to the practice of making art again as a full-time recording artist. Equipped with redefined focus, an awesome production team and the wisdom that could only be acquired through life's experience, BIG FIT returns to the business of rap music in full force and positioned to add on to his renown legacy all while elevating the South Carolina music scene one bar at a time.
