Haven II was a glorious experience front to back, and I was lucky enough to be offered the opportunity to play that mid-afternoon time slot when the sun is shining and people are getting warmed up for the evening to come. I was hired to be a part of something special in Slocan City on March 4th 2023. 
Something I’d never done as a dj before.
 Florrie Wood had a vision of creating a grief dance. A night of emotional dance music to honour grief, sorrow, heartbreak and pain. To feel all of it and move through or with it.  

This took place at the Maker’s Space in downtown Slocan in the early evening and was well attended.  There is some talk of creating another one of these events in April.

This is the live radio shortened version of that evening.

BRS, Stone, Bri, Diego, Manoj, Wu, Dakini, Danny, Derek, Erica and Kenny in full force.  muh lurv!  and the Shift crew throw a righteous hootenanny, I tell you what.  on and off the playa.  been a great honor to light up the pyramid stage over the years.  mad respect!  enjoy!
