KEWU je dynamickou součástí pražské pulzující hudební scény od roku 2012, známý pro svůj
divoký mix rychlých, perkusivních rytmů, hlubokých basových linek a silného vlivu
latinskoamerických a hispánských tanečních kultur. Jeho mixy často také zahrnují prvky
Baltimore club, ballroom beats a různých forem 4x4.

KEWU také moderuje pořad Flám na Radiu Wave, který se zaměřuje na alternativní taneční kultury a jejich talenty. Jako rezident akcí Addict a spolutvůrce noci BLAM! vytváří prostor, kde se
prolínají známé beaty s experimentálními zvuky.

V posledních letech KEWU rozšířil svůj hudební vliv prostřednictvím vlastní tvorby, včetně
spolupráce se zpěvačkou a producentkou Terrou na jejich projektu ‘Sugar & Sleaze.

My name is Joe. I live on the East Coast of the US. It was always my dream to produce House Records. I spent my whole life mixing records at raves, parties, and on the radio. I was mixing hip hop weekdays on Power 95.7 and 99.1, as well as dance music on weekends in the clubs. I even toured around a bit and was part of a duo called Dirty Needles with DJ Housework (Poe Records). Yet that whole time, I was never playing my own stuff. So, during the lockdowns, when everyone picked up a new (or old) hobby, I decided to learn! I also started my YouTube mix show and had Goons do all the art for that! 

Now it’s 2025 and I look back at my earlier stuff and cringe a bit, but it’s also cool, cause that’s where I was at at the time. I was on the grind. Learn something new, test it out. Take a quick lesson from a Night Bass artist, apply the skills. I’ve learned so much from so many of you all on here and on social media and tons on Discord!
