2017 Nova Scotia Music Week 'indigenous Artist Of The Year' Nominee 
SHiFT FROM THA 902 an up and coming hip hop artist with a hard raw style driven flow. His destinctive voice and honest lyrics draw inspiration from his youth growing up in wekoqmaq First Nation  , Nova Scotia a small reservation in Cape Breton Island.

He has shared the stage with other big artists in Canada like Classified, Merkules , Joey Stylez , Drezus , Winnipeg Boyz (formally most) , City Natives , DjIV , Mitchell Bailey , Ghettosocks , Prada West and has opened for Houston , Texas rapper RiFF RAFF and Los Angeles based rapper A-F-R-O aka all flows reach out. 

Inspired by 90's hip hop and current hip hop music. It is hard to put him in a box. His style is always expending and changing. If lucky to catch he's live show. You would know he's a young seasoned veteran Emcee that earned he's place in the Atlantic Canada Hip hop Scene and beyond. NOVA SCOTIA ,CANADA .

I am a multigenre producer from Connecticut, USA. My style is a mix of hip hop, dubstep, progressive house, and electro sounds.  I was always a musical person from an early age.  I began playing electric and acoustic guitar around 12 years old.  I studied Jazz Guitar methodology in college and I played in various rock bands throughout my life.  Once I heard The Prodigy's "Music for the Jilted Generation"....my whole outlook on what could be done with music changed.  I was fascinated by how they were able to create such great songs using synths and drum machines.  I began dabbling with Fruity Loops in college but eventually spent about 5 years developing my own sound and learning the ways of producing music.  Hope you guys dig these tunes!

I have so many musical influences but here's a few:  many thanks to such artists as the Prodigy, Crystal Method, Genesis, Bloody Beetroots, Incubus, Korn, 30 Seconds to Mars, Vince DiCola, RZA, Dr. Dre, Eminem, Just Blaze, Joe Satriani. Gerald Shaffer Bio.

Founder of the Doonesbury band Gerald is a Canadian musician and writer, producer, and performer. He is 56 years old and lives a rural life in roberts creek bc with his family.

His songs are alternative rock - inspired by southern blues, english blues, rock and roll, trance and 70's 

Today Gerald produces his own music under the Shaffer Music label. He sings and  plays keyboard, guitar, harmonica
