O imprevisível grupo nova-iorquino Black Dice encontra-se em digressão na Europa a promover o último álbum "Mr. Impossible", que em Abril analisámos através de uma crítica de Gustavo Sampaio, que o descreveu como "sintetizadores, loops, parafernália electrónica, surrealismo, glitch, hardcore, camadas sobre camadas, desconstrução, broken beat, noise, bizarria, instrumentos, vozes implodidas, psicadelismo, subgraves, riffs, linhas melódicas, drone, sobreposições, experimentalismo, funk, texturas, humor, distorção, estrutura, num caos ordenado que traça uma diagonal ao formato da canção pop". Dificilmente conseguiríamos uma melhor descrição do universo sonoro da banda de Eric Copeland, Bjorn Copeland e Aaron Warren.

Como a presente digressão europeia inclui uma passagem por Lisboa - no Musicbox a 20 de Setembro - desafiámos o trio de Brooklyn a compilar uma série de temas em jeito de mixtape, para que todos possamos entender um pouco mais sobre a música que ajudou a moldar o particular som dos Black Dice, que continua a desafiar a rotulação.
