The Barcelona label SUW presents its new saga "Classics goes to Techno" with the intention of giving a more rock vision of techno, fusing these two genres with a balance that will not leave you indifferent. This first edition offers us an “edit" based on a gem of rock songs of all time such as Thunderstruck (AC / DC). Its makers Diego Montiel & Moonkiza have known how to give these rock monsters the dance floor spirit to bring techno closer to the everyday life of the home.

After a long tradition of Italian Dance Wave compilations on Slow Motion, the time has come to let our darker (and most electronic) side shine. Time To Sleep - Not Going North (Wrong Era)

Seasoned Argentinian DJ and producer Alejandro Gamba is the creative mastermind behind Cosmosolar – an underground electronic music project inspired by the many facets and colours the good ol’ Techno may encompass. After appearing on many labels throughout his consistent 20-year career, he makes his debut on the mighty British powerhouse Nein Records with “Estrellas y Fantasía”, a sturdy and dark 5-track EP that comes with fat remixes by Roliva and BadWolf (FREEDL025) feat. ØBLVN.

Premiered here, Roliva’s interpretation of “Reptilian Vowels” brings the game to a more Dark Disco realm. The Techno aura of the original is still there, but clad with a Punk-meets-Cold-Wave attitude, something extremely characteristic of the sonority of the young Mexican artist, whose previous recent works on Dogs & Vultures, Emerald & Doreen, Phisica, and Mélopée helped to establish Roliva as a talent to watch amid the so-called Indie Dance scene.

PREMIERE302 // Cosmosolar - Reptilian Vowels (Roliva Remix)

Since its debut release in 2017, Astrolead Recordings has established itself as “the place to be” for the aficionados of Space Music, Cosmic Disco, Synthwave, Retrowave, Cold Wave, and whatnot. Its curator and supreme boss, Ilya Santana (SXDNS072), has managed to keep the high standard of the label through top-notch self-releases and special guests & collaborators such as From Beyond (SXDNS Takeover 001), Beyond the Struttosphere (SXDNS263), Julian Sanza, Juan Soto, and Linda Axelsson, just to name a few.

Flying solo one more time, Ilya brings now “Fahrenheit 104”, a hot and boiling two-track EP filled with retro vibes and space dust, the result of the time he lived in Saturn… or Mars – we are not quite so sure. Jokes aside, Ilya takes the curation of his imprint very seriously, no wonder its releases follow a strict pattern when it comes to the sonority Ilya aims to deliver through his platform.

Premiered here, the title track follows such pattern to the letter: Starting with a fat bass line (seriously: what a bass!), followed by heavy doses of arpeggiated synth layers, guitar-like leads, and ethereal pads; Ilya proves, once again, he is one of the best in the game.

Calystarr - Power From Universe

Summer heat is here and with it, the eighth instalment of Duro's international groove compilation 'Muy Duro'. For this offering the Mexican imprint digs music from Lithuania's Monk Ernie, a seductive collaboration between Time To Sleep & Local Suicide. The first manifestation is from Israelian Ido Morali. The debut of Moisees & ZEA in the VA series, and to close the compilation, a collaboration from TAU's duo, Dominik Marz & Radial Gaze. 

The opener is 'Canned Shoes' by Monk Ernie, a fresh and vigorous cut with a rogue percussion section, a big funky bass line, a melting electric guitar, and wacky arpeggio synthesizers and cooling pads.

 It's followed by 'I Unfollow You', the collaboration between the Croatian Time To Sleep and Berlin-based lovely duo, Local Suicide. Seductive melodies, tight drums and phantasmagoric voices lead you through the whole track. 

From Israel comes Ido Morali with 'Mondo3000', a pushing bass kick blended with dozed vocoders and acid sound that sweeps the reality expansion into a hypnotic experience. 

Next up is 'Wasen' by Moisees & ZEA, a track inspired by DMT trips and Japanese fishing boats. A Strong and mind-blowing cut, oriental instruments, psychedelic synthesizers, and rumble drums drive you to the zurna's break. 

To close the compilation is 'Error 707' by Dominik Marz & Radial Gaze, an epic cut manufactured with powerful drums and beautiful synthesizers, an electric shock rain.
