South Korea’s Shubostar follows with her signature cosmic energy on her remix of Waiting For The Night, Fedele’s atmospheric original brought to life by Lvdovica’s enchanting vocals. She flips the track into fizzing leads, sugar-sweet synth magic, and snappy drums that light up the floor.

Calmness, confidence, dignity, honor, respect, and pride.
The stars of fate hold inscriptions of secrecy — the path of our thoughts and spirit. 

Aibana (Constellation)

According with the mythology of Agharo, the spirit of every being lives in the stars. And so when the body dies, the spirit returns to the stars where it belongs. The soul is then the constellation formed by the stars every being has.

This structure of constellation, however, isn’t two-dimensional as in western astronomy; in Aibana each star is intimately connected with every other star within the constellation and within them runs the will of the spirit and its fate. The stronger the structure of Aibana, the stronger the spirit.

These cards speak of the individual — of our self in relation with the self. Or our spirit and our soul. Of that which is behind all masks, our true self and our true fears. What is instinctive, besides reason. Our faith and alignment with what we are. The obstacles put in our path by ourselves.Aibana (Constellation)

How did the meaning of the tarot card inspire the journey of this mix?

I was appealed by the ‘confidence’ aspect of it.
I really played the tracks I wanted to hear myself without thinking about anything else. Sometimes you might overthink a mix - especially one recorded at home one. But in this case I really went with the flow and eveything seems ‘fated’ to happen this way.

On a chilling October night, when the moon cloaked the sky in a ghostly glow, ghouls and witches gathered in a sinister dance beneath the twisted branches of ancient trees. Their shadows flickered eerily against the fog-laden ground as they played their dark games, laughter echoing through the still air, mingling with haunting whispers and distant howls. The air was thick with dread and enchantment, and every rustle of leaves seemed to carry secrets of the dark, as these malevolent beings revelled in their midnight revelry, casting spells and summoning spirits to join their macabre celebration.

We love our star themes on Club Mackan. And the next release is no different. We welcome Berlin-based James Rod with a stellar two-track EP, Astrolosis. With remixes from Aleito and Marcus Christiansen, this release is a journey through cosmic melodies, galactic grooves, and star-born transformations.

The title track, "Astrolosis," shines with a bright, uplifting melody that never quite sits still. Like a star undergoing metamorphosis, its sound keeps shifting while its core remains the same—steady bassline, euphoric tone, and clever layering. It's cosmic, happy, and hypnotic.

"Giorgiolate" follows with a groove that feels like a disco beat turned cinematic. The bassline takes the lead, constantly evolving and commanding the spotlight. Not-so-subtle FX and nuanced shifts in rhythm keep the track dynamic, giving it a sense of propulsion through space.

Marcus Christiansen's remix of "Astrolosis" injects drama and edge into the original. With a bit of acid and a powerful build-up, the remix builds tension like a dying star—only to explode into euphoric release, a true supernova moment.

Aleito, on the other hand, turns "Giorgiolate" into something far darker. Think dark matter made audible. Pitched-down percussion and haunting melodies make his version feel like it belongs in a distant, unknown galaxy.
