Cosmosolar – Arpatronik

Panthera is back at the Bordello with his most energy-packed release to date. Synthsizer Hits III is forged in the heat of Hi-NRG, the romance of italo and the daring synthesizer hooks of 1980s Europe. A thick rasping beat pounds above a juddering arpeggiator line before hedonistic surges ignite “Fumare”, an achingly addictive opener. Vocals are toyed with, used to increase the potency of the chosen machines and sounds. A circling chant infects “Lucifera” as a joyous melody takes hold of this modern Summer anthem, euphoric notes ushering in the dawn while speakers and strobe throb. There is a palpable power that permeates the 12”. “The Magic Touch” sends strings sailing skyward as rich percussive textures take root below. From this fertile ground, a sensational ode to the synthesizer flowers. Vocoder lyrics, pulsating rhythms and keys that are truly fantastical. “Toccata” finishes this analogue celebration. INCOMING : Panthera - The Magic Touch #BordelloAParigi

A decade has passed since Infinity Night graced Bordello A Parigi with his wonderful Winter and Summer EPs. After too long a wait, the French producer returns with the aptly titled Le Temps Qui Passe. Six slices of select synthesizer music make up the 12”, tracks lovingly crafted with Frederic Bergamaschi’s trademark analogue warmth. A melancholic melody meanders through brightness in “Tu Ne Me Réponds Pas”, dulcet words hidden under the machine gauze of a vocoder. Skittish percussion gives way to the refrain of “It’s Full of Stars”. Hazy keys appear as an arpeggiator rumbles below a shimmering sky. “Les Souvenirs De Valerie” picks up where its predecessor left off. Astral notes are beamed into the heavens, echoing into the while crisp cymbals tether the piece. Infinity Night has always sought that point of balance in his music, a bittersweetness he accentuates and explores. This is true in the darker shades of “Nymphomania”. Beats are bolstered, key stabs piercing the tenderness of analogue trills. The title track is a rich patchwork. A burbling undercurrent supports forays into diverse tangents with lyrics surfacing through key shifts and sliding scales. Marching to militaristic rhythms, “I Comme Icare” is the curtain call. The stringent drums are broken by sailing synthlines, vocals masked in a familiar mesh to close. Le Temps Qui Passe, well worth the wait.

For his second release on the imprint, Panthera combines his cosmic musical power with the incredible voice of singer Go Sonny.

The collaboration between the charismatic Go Sonny and the daring Panthera is an epic sonic journey, where the astral meets the explosive. Go Sonny's captivating voice blends seamlessly with Panthera's futuristic and hypnotic rhythms.

Together, they create an electrifying and cosmic atmosphere, propelling the listener into an intergalactic dance. A true whirlwind of energy and depth. An unforgettable musical odyssey.

Endrik Schroeder once again demonstrates the extent of a perfectly tamed eclecticism, delivering a techno-break remix of rare finesse. Driven by a striking melancholy, this remix infuses the release with an emotional depth that is both poignant and luminous. A future late-night anthem, etched in memories to the rhythm of the first rays of dawn.

BONUS TRACK (ONLY ON BANDCAMP) : As the most beautiful tribute that Panthera could make to Kraftwerk, "Amarea" unfolds a slow and captivating atmosphere, where elements seem to float in a suspended space. Carried by ethereal layers and textured analog synthesis, the track evokes the soundscapes of 70s SCI-FI films, somewhere between cosmic mystery and futuristic melancholy. Perfect music for a contemplative interlude or a gradual build-up at the beginning of the night.
