Sounds of a Parisian style are the flavour on this release from the dup known as Oddio Factory. If house music with a touch if the cinematic is your thing then this one delivers in spades!
	
The Prophet boasts some full on throbbing low-end action alongside some serious John Carpenter style Arp work and pads to die for in the breakdown. Sci-fi/horror style disco with a stop off at Baldelli’s Cosmic Club pretty much sums it up.

U Slip is amore stripped back & sparse offering that keeps things cosmic but goes in heavy on the hypnotic. Tribal style drums with some massively mutant style synth stabs & pad action…stick it on repeat please!

Got Bolts goes right to the dance floor for some late night jacking style workout with a bass line hook that grabs you right from the off an doesn’t let go until your drenched in sweat & stamping in disco jelly. Big stuff!

Keita Sano jumps on the remix wagon for Got Bolts and take sit out off the dance floor and into the beach side setting with a really stunning Balearic style hazy rework that wouldn’t sound out of place at any of the outdoor Croatian Summer festivals.

With Hand to Hand VA we want to draw public attention to this problem and provide assistance to organizations involved in helping people faced with arbitrariness. We have brought together like-minded musicians who share the ideas of cooperation, freedom and unity.
All proceeds from the VA will be split equally between the Russian human rights organizations: Mediazona (an independent media platform focused on the judiciary, law enforcement and penal system in Russia founded by Pussy Riot members Maria Alyokhina and Nadezhda Tolokonnikova) and OVD-Info (an independent human rights media project aimed at combating political persecution)".


The Hand to Hand VA geography is: Italy, Great Britain, Germany, Russia, Romania, France, Ukraine, Israel, Lithuania, Greece, the Netherlands and the USA.

Full streaming of Anna Funk Damage's track "Youssef", a high frequency material loop. Filthy distorted vocals which sound like coming from a roaring monster, hard hitting snares, percusiveness - gritty drums and neurotic bass, in combination with the approximate quite eastern tune.

Starting this multiform release with the young wizard from Tel Aviv Olsvangèr with his 'Jelly Dumbo' remix. A hypnotic burner; slow and psychedelic ride.

Second Mexican dancefloor master Tyu with his Ritmomix. Name says it all; heavy groove, sleazy percs, groovy bass and a pitchshifting oscillator to glue it all. A real dance floor weapon.

Last but not least, on of the gems from Düsseldorf, Lucas Croon serves us his 'Misterio' remix. A cinematic take driven by acid basslines and extremely killer drums.

[MDS006] SKD - Deepfake Mirrorscape (Original Mix)

One of the most important labels of the so-called Indie Dance/Dark Disco scene, Toulouse-based Esthétique, reaches its 28th release. Doing the honours, Russian Chandeliers, a new project formed by Niko Rapsis (Fringe Society, Modern Ruin) and Julian Grefe (Pink Skull, Clean Plate). Originally hailing from Athens and Philadelphia, respectively, the skilled duo met in 2014 in Berlin where they both reside and share a studio space. Their collaborative project, sprung from a mutual love of all things unsavoury and unfun, saw its inaugural release on New York’s SAMO Records. For their follow-up on the French imprint, these two dapper lifers offer up an EP of paranoid, muscular analog grooves fit for filthy basements and dirty dance floors.

Their powerful and vibrant “Silos” EP delivers four stunning originals and four top-notch remixes made with love by Zillas On Acid, Tushen Raï (SXDNS038) & Warum, Steady State, and Celestino (SXDNS009), yours truly.

Premiered here, Zillas On Acid’s interpretation of “A Fine Day For A Drubbing”. Formed by Thomas Roland and James Weissinger, long-time residents at Philadelphia's never-ending nightlife institution Making Time. Their post-punk and dilettante techno sonority paired perfectly with Russian Chandeliers’ work. The result of the rendezvous delivered one of the most striking pieces of the release with the highlighting going for the groovy percussive layer, the throbbing bassline and, yes, of course, the acid lead. Kudos!

Guatemalan resident Fabio is known at least by name worldwide within his scene as his tracks regularly feature high up in the respective charts. As someone who refuses to be bound by genre Fabio's eccentric style shines through in all his productions and, most notably, in his live performances where he'll garnish his set with funny vocals and synthesizers whilst really creating a connection with the dance floor.

As head of Italian (centric) Slow Motion label and through his own productions and remixes, Franz Scala has been pioneering the retro-futuristic aesthetic of club culture weaving together elements of proto-house, wave and Italo for the nuovo contemporary dancefloor long before it's current vogue. Now alongside Bordello A Parigi, and supported by Sameheads, Slow Motion presents Scala's euphoric debut LP Mondo Della Notte. 
A homage to the world of the night where Franz plies his trade. Solid production and understanding of the various references informing the contemporary dancefloor imbues this set with a quality of permanence. Each track clocks-in at around the seven minute mark accommodating all Scala's retro influences  providing the space for walls of sounds to expand and unfold along these infectious rhythm voyages.
