'Danza' Pleasure Voyage Mix

A 3 hours Toy Tonics Mega Mix featuring ONLY music that Toy Tonics released in 2021. Mixed by our TT brother KAPOTE in a very eclectic way. This mix includes the last releases by London born, Berlin living Cody Currie as well as Munich disco house twins COEO (Toy Tonics family members since day 1). You can hear 2 futuristic broken beat tracks by London’s Athlete Whippet as well as Italian disco don Sam Ruffillo (the Musumeci remix!). 
Check also our new German live disco duo GOME and the two tracks by american born, Berlin living keyboarder and producer Joel Holmes. Remixes by Sworn Virgins, Joe Claussell, Jex Opolis (for our new artist Digital Ivan from Moskau)included too.
Of course the mix also includes tracks from our Mushroom House compilation. We re-released 12 of the Mushroom tracks on a 2LP vinyl last year. (Mushroom House is a series of EPs with cosmic afro indie dance tracks we released since 2016).
This mix also includes some of the Toy Tonics edits. Reworks from the Illegal Jazz vinyl edits series that Kapote made with our friends Delfonic. Last but not least this mix includes also some of the ITALOMANIA edits. Reworks of rare Italian disco songs from the 1970ies that Toy Tonics released on a 2LP vinyl (bandcamp) compilation. Snake Milk invites you to a ceremony for the sinners and a cordial invitation to partake in the (f)unholy sacrament of Serpentine cream.  We will invoke the ancient impulses of hedonistic explosions to cover the insides of our ears and eyes and other various orifices . 

In the booming revival of 80’s nostalgia , EBM and post-punk sound,  SNAKE MILK is cultivating a unique  sound, braving the genre with bold vocals and haunting yet satirical narratives. Taking influence from artists such as Grace Jones, Kate Bush, Pat Benetar and Annie Lennox.

The Project was envisioned and created by front woman Joy Tyson in 2019 after many years of fronting more traditional bands and working for various producers as a vocalist and writer. Making her 80’s fantasy come true , With the help of friend and accomplished producer Skelesys (AKA Damian FS) they worked together to create the soundscape for the Debut tracks of Snake Milk .

Arkademode & the owl are happy to present the perfect release to work out! The Spanish artist drops three original tracks to perfect your summer body. 

"Get On It" sets the tone and gives the best to make people dance! The duet kick / rollin' bass arpeggio is perfectly detonating. Vocals focus on the way ahead. Leads & pads carry the track. Go to the fitness gym! The "Second Lesson" has a slightly slower pace. However, the track is deep and powerful, keeping the dancefloor always awake. 

To close the sports session, nothing like a good "Stretching Time" to rest and escape into the maze of the artist's brain. A beautiful vintage melodic story, filled with 80's synths & broken rhythm!

The first remix by the talented french artist Austher is an incredible dancefloor track! He drops a wonderful cosmic & epic remix, bringing people together & raising awareness. Banger!

Prepare to be transported into a realm of sonic enchantment with the forthcoming release from Berlin's renowned Iptamenos Discos. Boys’ Shorts, the dynamic queer duo hailing from Greece, comprised of Vangelis (formerly of LAGASTA) and London based Tareq, are set to unveil their EP 'Something To Forget' accompanied by captivating remixes from Gabe Gurnsey and Whitesquare.

Following their successful ‘New Era’ EP which was on high rotation on Berlin’s RBB Radioeins, and lending their remix skills to Local Suicide on their Eros Anikate album, Boys’ Shorts are yet again back on Iptamenos Discos with ‘Something to Forget’. The duo consists of Vangelis and
Tareq who have been friends for over a decade and have had an incredibly successful year, with a string of highly praised releases on Permanent Vacation, Live At Robert Johnson, HE.SHE.THEY & Pets Recordings, and DJ sets in esteemed venues including London’s E1 and Berlin’s Berghain as well as remixing Alison Goldfrapp and supporting her on tour.

‘Something To Forget’, the first single and title track starts with a strong kick and a prominent snare which punches through the mix and becomes a driving force which anchors the track. The bouncy and energetic bassline is contrasted with lyrics which are somewhat melancholic, however they are performed in a way that gives them an underlying sense of optimism.

The extremely talented producer Gabe Gurnsey, a regular on Phantasy Sound and member of Factory Floor, puts forward a dancefloor focused remix of ‘Something To Forget’, which ups the tempo and shifts the focus to the bassline, teasing snippets of the vocals initially and only letting them play out in full for a moment after the break.

‘Flying Away’ features washed out synths packed with reverb and dreamy emotion filled vocals that float around your head, and toe the line between happy and sad, never quite landing on either and leaving it up to the listener for interpretation.

Roman DJ and producer, Whitesquare is on remix duties for ‘Flying Away’ and throws away all questions of what tone the track will follow with the introduction of a euphoric and nostalgic piano melody in the breakdown, that will bring a smile to everyone’s face and a wave of positive energy over any dancefloor.

Something To Forget’ is sure to be a revered release by Boys’ Shorts and another exciting addition to the Iptamenos Discos catalogue. The full EP including both remixes will be released on all digital/streaming platforms and 12” vinyl on June 14th, 2024.
