Having spent the last 4 years plying his trade down in Exeter, former manager of Nu-Tropics HAMMO has now turned his sights to the big leagues of London. A resident on Hackney-based station Subtle Radio, James hold’s dearly a wide selection of genres in the dance music universe. Always on the hunt for the next weird sound he can fall in love with, he has a serious drive to push leftfield music with his label Vief, which he launched in May this year. Alongside the music, James intends to use Vief as a platform to advocate for social justice, a reflection of how deep-rooted his care for the way world operates is. For his mix for Brick Sweat, James wanted to use this opportunity to run through a selection of tunes from the faster end of his library. Comprising mostly jungle tracks (with some of his favourite vinyl finally getting a play), he still manages a way to include some A.G. Cook and Jessy Lanza in his hour. A message from HAMMO himself. “If you haven’t already go and fucking buy Brick Sweat’s VA, the money is going to such an incredible cause.”

leo spasit est producteur et DJ. Installé à Pantin, il y produit une musique spontanée, influencée entre autres par l'electro de Detroit et le braindance anglais. 

  Quelque part entre electro, breakbeats, acid et bass music, leo Spasit livre "Nuit Tranquille" son premier EP. Imagé et onirique bien qu'emprunt d'une pointe de dérision, le projet est clairement destiné aux pistes de danse. Un périple nocturne en cinq actes, de 120 à 150 BPM.

DJ Bazootka? He trashes 4/4s to craft what’s easiest to describe as hard-techno with blends of phat ghetto-tek, tons of sampling, and distortions for the base of his production style. With no artistic limitations other than these points of soft categorization just for the sake of explaining the sound, he often experiments by fusing dark ambient scapes with what’s essentially bootlegged pop or ghetto vocals to confuse and further orchestrate a chaotic dark club in his style.
