We are more than happpy to welcome our dear friend Apolline alias Hypnotic Black Magic, who is one of the first lovely souls to whom we connected in our precious Deep Techno Community.
Apolline is a Berlin-based event manager and curator of Art Bei Ton next to being a fabulous DJ. Besides that she also organises the inspiring Ambient Sleepers event series in Berlin.
In the journey which she recorded for our podcast series, Hypnotic Black Magic leads the listener through several stages of consciousness by varying her musical selection in a diverse style with a continuous mesmerising and hypnotizing flow throughout different genres.

Hypnotic Black Magic is a Berlin-based DJ inspired by dark/deep/hypnotic techno, atmospheric ambient and ritualistic drums.

Through her sets, her goal is to create musical journeys conceived as introspective explorations of human's deepest obscure thoughts, meditative states and sensual expressions.

Based in Berlin, but also traveling around, HBM had the chance to play at some venues like Griessmühle and ://about blank in Berlin, VENT in Tokyo, Gare in Porto, Vurt. in Seoul, Ciało in Wroclaw, Monument Festival in Norway and in many other cities such as Medellin, Tbilisi, Lisbon, Paris, Amsterdam, Bangkok, Istanbul or Athens.

Theodora is a romanian musician, based in Vienna. With a background as vocalist in mainly jazz and soul, she always had a big passion for electronic music. Especially Jungle and Romanian minimal influenced her from a young age which is reflected a lot in her sets. Her sound varies from energetic basslines to rhythmic grooves and textural patterns. Her aim is to connect al these elements in an organic and sonic concept.
