Dream House emerged in the mid-1990s as a subgenre of electronic dance music that blended the lush, ethereal textures of ambient and trance with the rhythmic structure of house music—often at a slower tempo than typical trance. The genre was short-lived as a formal category but hugely influential on melodic trance, chillout, Balearic, and even progressive house.

This is a tribute to the EDM that filled my headphones in the beginning of my career. My favorites were Robert Miles, Fluke, Chicane, ATB, and BT.
