Known for his detailed and surgical mixing style, a well curated taste of music and the ability to weave a story through a set regardless of style or time of day. Paradigm is a DJ's DJ. A rare slice of the old school that still believes in the "art of the mix" and the story telling journey aspect of a performance. 
Residing in Los Angeles since 2013, Paradigm has found himself a mainstay of the United States Psychedelic scene for multiple generations having previously called San Francisco, Denver and the American Midwest as home. As both a event promoter and DJ he has long brought forth a ethic of professionalism and exceptionalism.
The years have seen him associated with many major players in the global scene. As a promoter, he is a integral part of the Pulse Events team, a event organization that can easily be argued as being the most regarded Psy oriented crew in the United States. Wearing his DJ hat as he refers to it, Paradigm has been a label DJ for Blacklite Records and United Beats and farther in the past for Maia and Mindfunk records. With multiple well charted compilations to his name, he continues to show that his finger is always on the pulse of Trance, no matter the era.
In 2018 he has launched Sculpted Sounds,his own label project with the intent on raising the bar of the United States and North America's contributions to the world wide scene. While Paradigm has enjoyed considerable success throughout his home continent  2018 is looking like a global breakout year for him alongside Sculpted Sounds.
 Sometimes controversial but always passionate one would be hard pressed to deny his drive and love for Psychedelic , Full On and Progressive Trance.

My first touch with psychedelic happend somewhere around '99.I knew i've found that little big missing piece of me.After a couple years of visiting parties i've started as a DJ.Almost 20 years later i started to learning how to produce music.In 2021 Chill Out project Mindset was born.

Enter the realms of "Muatoy" and "Frosty Fennic," two innovative musical projects crafted by the creative mastery of Jukka Surakka. These projects capture the essence of Nordic culture, blending Suomisound, Forest, Dark, Full-on, and industrial elements into a unique sonic experience while maintaining the spirit of psychedelic trance. Both are the culmination of Jukka's long-term Suomisound project, Oikeusjyvä.

"Frosty Fennic" honors the resilience and adaptability of the Finnish people, reflecting their connection to the pristine landscapes and frozen beauty of the North. Jukka's compositions transport listeners to the heart of Nordic craziness, with tracks released on labels such as Digital Shamans, Future Music, Forestdelic, Ovnimoon, Samaa, Sangoma, Vertigo and Z-Plane Records, and now proudly contributing to the BMSS Records artist repertoire.

Echoes of Frosty Fennic can be found in Jukka's other project, "Muatoy," which has already established its place within the BMSS Records family. Derived from the Finnish word 'Muotoja,' meaning 'Shapes,' Muatoy explores the omnipresence of shapes in our lives—seen, heard, and felt. It weaves these shapes into a vibrant tapestry of sound, exploring the intricate geometry of music and perception.

Jukka founded Muatoy with a deep understanding of the symbiotic relationship between shapes and sensory experiences, transforming this language into an auditory journey that transcends conventional musical boundaries. Through Muatoy and Frosty Fennic, Jukka Surakka invites listeners to explore the unseen patterns of existence and experience the harmony of the Nordic soundscape.

Kundalini - The Psychedelic Trance project of Nikolay Sabchev from Bulgaria.
With already two decades of experience, he has played on parties and festivals in Bulgaria, Japan, Germany, Greece, Mexico,Thailand, Serbia, United Kingdom, Portugal, Malta, Spain, Hungary,Switzerland, Romania, Macedonia, Austria, Crimea/ Ukraine, Turkey, Lebanon...Sharing the decks with most of the well known psychedelic trance artists on the planet.

His sets contain full on psychedelic trance, progressive and ambient mixes are part of his act on different events as well. According to the production part of the things - EPs and single tracks has been released for labels like BMSS, 604 Recordings, Matsuri, Spiral Trax, Sony Pictures, 1.2 Trip Records, Pharmacy Music, Reson8, Ovnimoon, Boom! Rec, Parabola, Geomagnetic, Goa or EDM Records.

Since 2017 he is signed to his home label BMSS Records where he released a dozen tracks so far. More are on the horizon and an album in the making !
