@highspeedviolence is a DJ/Producer/Party Organizer based in London via Italy.

As a member of @thenacht, she finds inspiration in both, the clubbing scene and the free party movement. Her sets and productions deliver a mixture of her multiple inspirations combining industrial and hardcore techno, hardstyle, trance, mental techno, acidcore and beyond.

Her productions can be heard on labels such as @rawppl, @stroberload, @hardvisionchannel, @demainkollectiv and Carbone Records to name a few.

This week on the Ismcast we have High Speed Violence.

After making her Ismus debut on the Fold x Ismus stream back in 2020 it was about time we got the young Italian artist on the podcast series. Currently based in London, High Speed Violence has been making a solid name for herself releasing on labels such as Raw, Carbone Records and on Coup, with her collaboration with ØTTA. HSV is definitely a name to familiarise yourself with.

This mix displays her broad taste in genres although as her name suggests keeping things moving along quickly with serious power.

Ismcast Presents 151 - High Speed Violence

Classical dancer and pianist converted to the art of DJing, Jean Terechkova is from Normandy and Rennes by adoption. She cultivates fertile metamorphoses, just like her stage name, the addition of a long-standing male nickname and a tribute to the first female cosmonaut. Since her first love for industrial techno, she multiplies her references and widens her musical spectrum towards the rave sounds of the 90s, acid, hardcore, pushing to frapcore and other forms of hard dance. However, her mixes always bring out the melody of devastating kicks, and seek, beyond the violence, all the poetry of brutality.

Released on KTK Records, Tétraèdre or HardVision, his high paced productions reflect the current effervescence of the French techno scene and the promise of beautiful future cavalcades.

Jean Terechkova - Podcast Series

Co-founders of the Rennes based collective Mikrokosm, @DICA_mkrksm & @Teokad have always shared the same love for acid sounds and high-powered rhythms. A devoted passion that brought them to collaborate on pure bangin’ tracks, but also to play gigs all over Europe and beyond in the past years, each one on their own. 

Allowing them to constantly improve their skills, those years have also been the opportunity to respectively push their sounds towards greater efficiency and power, by taking new trajectories, or going deeper in their own styles. This is where DICA’s UK acid-techno got overboosted with rolling basslines and other trance-like sounds, while Teokad added strong scents of early hardstyle to his arsenal.

But since friendship, Brittany's roots and acid always rule, it seemed pretty obvious that they would join forces on stage at one point or another. And they just did it the best way, with a 4-hands live performance played for the first time last summer at the Astropolis Festival.
