Our first b2b mix coming in hot from our boys I.E and TooMuch. They are keeping things moving along nicely with this hour of new, old and unreleased weapons.

Having spent a lot of time playing together across Europe, it was time to get a mix out together and we are over the moon to host their first on the Ismcast. The mix displays the high energy created by the two when they play together, bringing both of their tastes together to make a special concoction.

Glasgow born and Berlin based DJ and Producer I.E has been making a name for himself in the techno and trance scene for some time now. His style leans towards the heavier sides of these genres intertwining heavier sounds such as gabber and schranz. Having releases a number of track on his own imprint Ismus as well as Space Trax, MITSU2000, EXTRA ENERGY and Wav:es, he has plenty more project in the works. I.E is the co-owner and label manager of the infamous Ismus project in Berlin. He also holds a residency with the Streck collective based out of Gothenburg, Sweden.

Leidy van ’t Leven, also known as LVTL is Colombian born and currently based in Amsterdam. Whereas a late bloomer considering Techno, she is certain of her destination. Since visiting her first Techno festival at age 23 the two have been inseparable. Ultimately she has decided to take her stand behind the decks to be able to share her passion with like-minded explorers. The Berghain is her main source of inspiration and she proudly presents this by using her refined dark, industrial elements in her dynamic sets.

Frank Heise is the Co-founder of the Berlin-based imprint Space Trax, a fresh new label which is mainly orientated into trance and rave sound. This is also what you can expect from his DJ-sets: fresh rave attitudes with old school trance vibes. Also he’ll be part of the first Lebendig compilation - you should definitely keep an eye or both on this one.

We are back with the twenty six BunkerBauer Podcast and this time we have a good friend from Vienna behind the decks - @alpha-tracks-official

Alpha Tracks is a true Vienna pioneer of the hard trance sound. He has released several EP's throughout the years and recently he put out an EP on @sinensis-ute - a sub label to @ute-rec and his "White Keys" album on Morbid Records.

This mix is a really nice vibing mix, starting with melodic groovy  percussions and jumpy basslines and ending in nice acidic hard trance.

CRUDE Premiere: Timothy Clerkin - Hatred(False Witness Remix) [Insult to Injury]

This new Biome drop features four incredible new creations, all exploring the science of electronci rhythm in their own unique way, allowing a lot of space within each mixdown without any of the compositions sounding too empty or spacey. Overall, the project is exactly what we want to hear from a link up like this as the innovation found within the collaborative energy continues to amaze us. 

In fact, we loved this project so much, we simply had to get involved ourselves with an official premiere of 'Torah', the fourth track. The best way to describe this one would be a perfect combination of blips and bass, exploring the previously unexplored space within rhythms and synths that give the track an unusual yet interesting vibe throughout.

Biome - Torah [The 3000 Network Premiere]

Glasgow born DJ and @ismusberlin co-owner @idote (aka Jonathan Carroll) is flying the flag for the Berlin crew. Since arriving in Germany in early 2016 his involvement has seen the growth of Ismus into one the German capital's iconic events and the launch of its own record label. 

With a keen interest in up and coming artists, Jonathan prides himself on providing talented newcomers a platform to release their music. His sets reflect this, featuring tracks from a flurry of brand new artists with fresh ideas. I.E’s sound mirrors that of Ismus, his DJ sets consisting of fast paced Techno, 90s Trance and Gabber. His production style takes influences from many different styles of trance and he has since begun work on his own imprint, Trance Cuts, set for a delayed launch in 2021 with his debut EP 'Keep Clear, I Am Trying'.
