With sensitive adaptability to dance music’s spectrum, Stratton trax often plays an intersectional role when playing sets. Beyond his enthusiasm for slamming techno, 90s breakbeat, and even piano house, his main proclivity lies with speed garage - the rough-and-ready genre born from the late 90s.

Commencing his intrepid streak back in 2016, Luke has since released on the likes of natural sciences and Of Paradise, his most recent EP ‘Hardcore Live Forever’ on the latter calling upon the pre-00s era of UK rave. Garnering support from Aquarian, Zenker Brothers, and more, his exceptional output has not gone unnoticed, and in Summer last year he made his first appearance at one of our UNFOLD parties.

Back in February, Stratton appeared for an epic peak-time eruption at our Ilian Tape takeover, and for this episode of DETECT, we’ve got an hour of his old and new-school flavours to two-step to.

Lobster Theremin with Asquith & Animistic Beliefs - 31 July 2020

MAC Address is the latest project by local Naarm/Melbourne producer and DJ Sam McNiece. Like his MAC Address productions, this mix explores the darker sides of electro and harder dance music while retaining the same sense of fun that has driven Sam’s approach to music for years. The result is a mix of clubby atmospheres intercut with party vibes, courtesy of some great pop and hip hop samples.

Having been out of action for a little while, Loïcc makes his presence felt with a powerful 57 minutes that delves into raw, high energy sounds. Expect broken beats, breaks, acid and ambience  which slowly builds as the mix progresses.

Operating out of Melbourne, Australia, dj osprey (aka Olivér) has found his passion for music within the city’s ever-expanding music scene.
He co-organises a collective named ‘Synesthetic’ and has found a passion in running events that incorporate a balance between audio and visual stimuli. 
He has played alongside the likes of Simo Cell, DJ Gigola and Reptant.  
Dj osprey keeps things strictly electro and aims to look beyond the current trends of the genre to find a sound that is equally as immersive as it is interesting. 
"The state-wide lockdown currently occurring in his part of the world has given him the motivation to dive into the production world, where he hopes to begin releasing some of his music to the public."
