[Premiere] Post Scriptum - Year Zero (9T9T Remix)

"A Broken Clock Is Right Twice A Day" EP is comprised of 7 tracks recorded in Kazan and Moscow during various sessions. Some of them go back as early as 2014 and everything is composed on two 8-track samplers. 

Alina Izolenta and Kamil Ea were born in the USSR, so the origin of the acronym PTU is embedded in everyday life of a country which no longer exists. The duo spent their childhood in Siberia and on Volga, and their salad days in music schools and early clubs of their respective home cities. 

Back then accessing the internet was only possible via pre-paid cards that came in envelopes. Music — via pirate CDs and endlessly slow mp3 downloads. Friendships would stem from copying music from hard drive to hard drive. The name PTU came to life in the middle of 00s, in a rented apartment, literally the last building in some steet on the outskirts, over impromptu synth sessions with friends.

Número Cinco comes all the way from Medellin. 
Sebastian Markovich or Lust Attraction as he is more commonly known when he's damaging eardrums has kept busy for quite some time. Aside from being an active member of @movemedellin, He co-runs Culto with associates Byron Maiden, Black Propaganda, and  Retrograde Youth.
Their mission statement is to expose/introduce party goers to artists and sounds that wouldn't easily find their way into the South American country.  Among the growing list of artists who have made the trip to the city with everlasting spring, we can see names like @ErnestasSadau, @ElenaColombi, @Marsman, @stevesummersny, @Iintergalactic_gary, (to name a few)and let's not forget that Xmas party with @justin-aulis-long.
After a quick look into Culto's portfolio, one can conclude these cats are sticking to their objective.

Romance Disaster is Berlin based “woman-machine” live-act, founded by Aga Wilk (former 77™) in 2016. Aga has been making music and visual art for over 10 years, involved in several projects (including her italo disco solo project, called simply Aga Wilk and experimental “space synth” project, Kino Mono). Since her successful debut “BOY” EP (released on David Carretta’s Space Factory Records), she has been collaborating with artists such as for example Adriano Canzian, Millimetric, David Carretta and Hard Ton. As Romance Disaster she has also been actively performing live in Europe performing on venues together with artists such as Adult, Ancient Methods, Kondaktor, Reka, Peine Perdue, Sarin,Radioactive Man, Luke Vibert, Soft Riot and many more. Her live performances are very energetic. On stage, besides vocals, she uses various drum machines and synthesizers, changing them frequently what makes each performance sounding different and special. Romance Disaster newest “Take off your past” EP is now out on Things To Come Records

Premiere : Ryan James Fords  - Burnage [Clone Records]

Our very own @voicedrone is the next artist stepping into the limelight for DETECT. Lasha Jorjoliani is an often-unreadable enigma, lending much of his time to his studio, curating line-ups and sharpening his performances in the booth. Although an undeniable figurehead of the scene, Voicedrone is by no means explicitly tied to co-founding FOLD. Before our inception, Lasha travelled his own personal journey into the scene, hailing originally from Georgia and arriving in the U.K. solo to pursue a music career he built his reputation through sheer will. In 2016 he established his label Imprfct., which along with his ever-expanding network and dedicated grind within London directed his path towards creating and curating parties. 

Four years on, Lasha is in an indestructible one-way lane, having developed a graphic, dynamic sound that we come together to experience. At his core is a passion to create and nurture community; this purpose is channelled into every event he plays - here at home, in Europe and beyond. Playing at influential venues and parties included his beloved HTBX London has preserved his significance in the underground scene and his constant admiration from the FOLD family, and his closing set from our Unstream two weeks ago was testament to this. Broadcasting live from his own home, Lasha took us through the best reasons why UNFOLD is what it is now.

The phrase “leading by example” may be somewhat overused, but in the case of Voicedrone, such a statement is entirely appropriate.
