Ashes of Billy were born in 2021 and consists of the 3 boys Daniel, Johan and Anton. We play rock, grunge, heavy and everything in between :) Hope you enjoy it!

Mikrokleinstgarten is nowadays a Berlin-based independent label, founded 2009 in Dresden. The initial ambition was to publish music in the tradition of DIY, that has been created by the founders or friendship musicians. Getting things done, made possible by the hands of the very collective. Based on this idea, the effort was held up high to publish music still on the lookout for the right corner and sometimes not always easy to classify into narrow genres and structures. And so it seems, that this is the reason for steady movement and fertile restlessness. Mikrokleinstgarten as a label with continuous drive and self-adjustment, an experimental set-up performed together, with an unknown course and (so far) an unpredictable direction.

The point is to make a collective attempt.

The earliest historical references of Strainful Train can be dated back to 2012 years after Christ. In the written heritages it is described, that Benny, the burek maker, traveled to the island Poel in the Baltic Sea, North Gemany, to learn the fine arts of boat building. During his apprenticeship he met Hendrik and Tim, two local students and no goods and he noticed, that they all shared a taste in music and in beer. So they formed a band, gave it an unspeakable name and retreated in a local barn to write songs and philosophize about life. After five years they found their findings worthy to be shared with the world. So from then on, whenever they found time, they traveled through Europe so that every cosy, shady, chummy or smelly pub they encountered could be granted one to sixteen hours of the choicest handmade music. Until the throats were coarse and the bassist was drunk, even if the barkeeper was the only audience. During their travels they found two Irish musicians, Denise the fiddler and Brian the drummer, willing to support them live and in the studio. An album was recorded in 2017, another one in 2019 and if they didn’t split up yet, they might be playing in the bar right now, right around the corner.
