Three Faces of Eve bring four slices of rave techno heaven, in this riotously slamming but equally bright offering for OBSCUUR. Vocal snippets, heavy heavy drums and the kind of synths that make you go just a little bit wild. There's some great variety across the tracks, from squat style acid to broken beats and plenty in between.

The Brvtalist is pleased to host Catartsis - Press (Ōtone Repress). This composition comes off Ōtone and Catartsis' spilt EP, Mechanical Gesture, which OBSCUUR originally released digitally in August 2020. The EP was met with wide acclaim and supported by DJ Stingray, Martin Gore (Depeche Mode), Manni Dee, Machine Woman, Rommek and Tapefeed, OBSCUUR now brings us the vinyl issue of the EP which brings the pair's excellent work on to analog format. 

The artists explore, both in their collaborative and respective work, a wide spectrum of electronic and electroacoustic music with the practices of field recording and attentive listening at the core of their creative process. Inspired by musique concrète and electroacoustic sonic manipulations, they combine and alter sounds from the real, from their surroundings and from found (mainly metallic) objects. Stemming from this approach, they engage in rhythmical and textural research to elaborate a — peculiar, acousmatic and almost tangible — percussive and club-oriented music.

We are happy to premiere a track from Töria called 'Present'. Taken from her upcoming EP called 'Timeline'. Its a 3-track industrial techno EP and she is an artist based in the South of Portugal, known for her impressive devotion to obscure soundshapes and a constant search for heavy feelings through her music.

'Dare to enter this cutting-edge atmosphere created by a dark and deep bassline often cut by sharp metallic sounds and ressonant kicks, from its fast-paced beginning to its sensual sudden end. An intense ride through three moments in time - the past, the present and the future.'

The full EP will be released on March 29th on APHOTICA records.
