The debut artist album by Alexey Mazhaev has cut all previous records achieved by the Russian progressive label during the entire two-years-long activity. Already in the first week after hitting the online music stores «Constant Religion» climbed up the Beatport charts like no other Intricate Records release ever did before, the longplay was also featured in the top list of most sold albums on iTunes Russia in the category «Dance music». One week later Fon.Leman announced a forthcoming extended play which includes three tracks from the album at once. Now is the time to reveal the first official single which is based on the main theme of the album «Constant Religion». The Intro Mix and the album version are as like as two peas in the main part. Next comes the Club Mix — it transforms the calm and serene mood of the original version into a lively dance-focused hit. Finally, the remixes by Russian duo of Perm-based producers, Aerofeel5, and Deep Lark from Nizhny Novgorod, have that special warm and steady progressive sound — both remixes do not jibe with the philosophy of Intricate concept.

Included into Part 2 of our ½ Decade: A 5-Year Retrospective compilation as an exclusive remix, we would be having the remixes showcased in full. We are starting with Tom Bro's rework on Caira's Years.

Originally part of The One EP, released back in March 2021, Years is a soothing yet upbeat track, hinted with more 90s trance synths and melodic approach. And after the previous appearance with the remix on Mekao's Great Moments back in last year, and releasing on Emergent Shores, Soluna, Antima and Round Triangle, we are glad to have France-based progressive sensation Tom Bro on the remix. Making it more with a balearic trance style, and delivering the original with his signature and stylistic sounds, Tom Bro turns the bassline-oriented original into a melodic-oriented and upbeat track, whilst remaining the atmospheric feels with light piano pads in the break.

Hailing from Poland, he is a man of melodies, that been brought on to the scene over the past years bringing echoes on the melodic progressive scene. His past release with us gained support on Above & Beyonds mighty Group Therapy show and we believe he has brought on another 2 brilliant productions with us here.

“Mysterious Colour” as the first tack is named, is a journey from start to finish, where he blend well selected melodic parts with more energy filled implants of sounds to bring on a great melodic journey that will etch to your brains. He’s so talented in getting different melodic lines together and here is another proof of that, superb stuff. 

The second original on the release is named as “Stay”. This is another epic melodic progressive cut, made through driving progressions, well worked melodies that is to make you fly from start to finish. Over the past 20 years, Above & Beyond and their label, Anjunabeats, have launched the careers of some electronic music’s most-respected names; Andrew Bayer, Arty, Audien, ilan Bluestone, Seven Lions and Mat Zo to name but a few. In January 2021, the label launched Anjunabeats Rising: a new EP series highlighting the next generation of producers and championing emerging artists from around the world.

Hailing from Finland, Anton Sonin (aka SØNIN) explores the sound of breakbeat and trance on ‘Titan’. Anton worked with Super8 & Tab on their iconic Anjunabeats single ‘Black Is The New Yellow’ from 2010, and collaborated with Yotto on ‘Nothing Like You’, which featured on Anjunadeep 10. 

A long time friend of the Anjunafamily with two official remixes under his belt New York’s Mike Saint-Jules makes his solo label debut with ‘Flares’. Mike has over a decade of production experience, with releases on Black Hole, Flashover and Vandit. He’s remixed Armin van Buuren, Gabriel & Dresden and Super8. ‘Flares’ has echoes of the classic, progressive Anjunadeep sound of the 2000s.

Rounding off the EP is Dylhen, who makes label debut with ‘Wanderlust’. A Group Therapy Radio regular, he’s a stalwart of the U.K’s underground progressive scene, with releases on Future Sound Of Egypt and Grum’s Deep State Recordings. He also released a cracking remix of Gabriel & Dresden’s ‘No One To Blame’ on Anjunabeats in 2020.

Fon.Leman is an alias of Alexey Leman from Ekaterinburg of Russia. 
He started to take interest in electronic music when he was 13, 
and soon under influence of Prodigy, Kraftwerk, Hybrid, Crystal Method in 1998 
he tried himself in producing choosing breaks style using Rebirth software.

After music sequencers appearance and gaining popularity of dance music 
he switched his attention to Industrial, trance and techno. 
Mixing genres but devoted to his very own style.

Over the time of his career, Fon.Leman get together all his music experience, 
and at present time using it in his favorite styles: Trance and Progressive. 
Most people call his music "Ibiza Style" for its deepness and transparency.
