Having a brother and a sister older then me, was easy for me growing in the 90s with beats from Depeche Mode, Milly Vanilly, Head Way, Culture Beat, Prince Ital Joe and I consider that this was the base for me. From here I have stared to listen to all types of music, but my focus went on ambiental music and trance at the beginning.  But after all of this years in search for good music, I felt in love step by step with electronic music and beats especially, and at some point in my life I started to play for the audience only electronic music and I realised that this is the type of music that I want to play for the rest of my life. This thing got me gigs here in Romania but also abroad, alongside DJs like Cezar, Suciu, Lizz, Charlie, Paul K, Yuda,Incolor, CAP, Dubtil, Priku, Arapu and also important festivals and showcases.”

Vibe Podcast 023 w/ Tiberiu

This podcast edition is delivered by Tiberiu, a Romanian artist who is also part of the great project Dinsubsol. In 2015, he decided to start his electronic music journey in Dej, his hometown, and since then he continued performing at many parties and festivals not only in Romania but also abroad.

Tiberiu easily makes a perfect mix between quality music and the desire to keep on dancing. His sets are defined by energy and good feeling moments.

His passion for dynamic vibes and catchy sounds always reached the crowd.

As iosif is due to land a release on our label in the coming months, we thought its only right to delve into the sounds that inspire him and share with you guys.. enjoy!

This is followed by a two-hour minimal tour de force. An organic piece with a velvety bass, a poem by Baudelaire recited with a voice from beyond the grave on a percussive cloud. The piano invites itself as a distinct element throughout the set, in a succession of dark and colourful landscapes, but remaining in an abstract sphere.
Between shamanic and psychedelic, surprising elements emerge from random sequencers. We revel in a real rhythm and groove lesson that is spiced up with many indistinct vocals. Mechanical noises send chills up the spine, and a powerful swing dominates the performance like an invitation to wiggle that one can’t refuse. 
A superb sung vocal contrast with the minimalist locomotive, quickly won over by an orchestral cacophony and a spiritual pan flute. Beckhaüser closes his performance with a super funky brass band track and demonstrates the versatility of his selection. This set confirms the passionate and expert mix of the artist, strong of his experience as a label owner and one of a kind music enthusiast.
