Brisbane's dark electronica project Your Familiar enter the new year with their experimental pop release Lavender Gold. A compelling track with layers of depth, Lavender Gold serves as a reminder to all that listen to channel their inner strength. With melancholy soundscapes and delicate vocals.

A spark lighting the release fire, Lavender Gold is an eerie and ambient angle for the band, showcasing their sparse style. Full of cathartic vocals and under currents of synths melodies, Your Familiar push their pop boundaries. Drawing influence from eclectic artists such as St Vincent and Portishead, the haunted pop group met during their uni years studying music at QUT.
