This is underground legend.  In 2017 Bjarki had the biggest "Techno" track of the year with his take on "Go Bang".   A minimal effect play on DJ Deeon's "2 Be Free" (1996 Dancemania).   I actually took parts from the DJ Deeon along with the original Dinosaur L from 1982.  That was Sleeping Bag Records jump off track back in 82.  Then came the Todd Terry Project "Bango" in 1988.   Another Sleeping Bag Records hit.

I WANNA GO BANG #8 / BROOKLYN WAREHOUSE REDUX

"La Ruta Destroy" or simply "La Ruta" was the name given in the 80's to the 72h non-stop pilgrimage from Friday to Sunday around several nightclubs in the surroundings of the city of Valencia. Nightclubs now legendary as Barraca, Spook, Chocolate or NOD, combined their opening hours (evening, night and afterhours) to offer uninterrupted weekends with dj sets, live bands and spontaneous parties on the parking lots.

A radical way of understanding nightlife that would change the way of understanding clubbing (in the same way that nightclubs like The Haçienda in Manchester did) and all due to the pioneering approach operating these nightclubs as well as in the musical selection where styles such as Synth Pop, EBM, New Wave, Gothic rock, New beat or Chicago House could coexist in the same night set.

Later on in the mid 90's, victim of its own success, "La Ruta" that until then had been ignored and misunderstood by the mass media during its most glorious years, became the focus of attention with the infamous denomination of 'La Ruta del Bakalao' that ended up resulting in years of socio-cultural and musical decadence.

This set is dedicated to the Sonido de Valencia and to all the artists and promoters of the Valencian night that made possible this transcendental movement through their desire to express and innovate.

Foolish Green's music and crew turned up based on the intuitive-spontaneous-empiristic inner feeling featuring acoustic instruments with some trusty analogue effects and untrusty computer. Using alternative methods of recording and creating harmonic voices over the musical structures, makes them entirely different from the rest of the local music scene. Foolish Green (Nenad Stefanoski) announced his debut album "Escape" which will be released by the end of this year. From the outset, a team of seven man joined the idea called "Escape". They contributed primarily with their empiricism. Foolish Green’s own produce reflect the wide variety of influences and breach psychedelic pop and rock’n’roll genres.
