Frontliner - Beam Me Into Space | TSOF 5/14

LNY TNZ, Ruthless en Jebroer sluiten het jaar knallend af met de release van hun gezamenlijke single ‘Paranoia’. Het DJ-duo LNY TNZ maakt een indrukwekkende opmars in het clubcircuit met optredens in binnen –en buitenland. Zo draaiden zij het afgelopen jaar in Las Vegas (EDC), Atlanta (TomorrowWorld), Antwerpen (Summerfestival) en festivals als Defqon.1, WiSH Outdoor en Intents Festival. LNY TNZ gaat in 2015 van start met een Amerikaanse tournee.
 
Producer Ruthless is niet geheel toevallig een jeugdvriend van LNY TNZ en staat bekend als een veteraan in de harddance scene. Hij scoorde in 2007 met zijn formatie Jeckyll & Hyde een nummer 1 hit in de Top40 met het nummer ‘Freefall’ en introduceerde daarmee het genre ‘jumpstyle’.
 
Jebroer bracht in 2014 zijn solo album ‘Gouden Tranen’ met diverse singles uit en tourde door Nederland en België. Op dit moment werkt Jebroer met diverse dj´s en producers aan nieuw werk. Zo bracht hij met Dirtcaps de single ´Miljoenen´ uit, gevolgd door deze samenwerking met LNY TNZ en Ruthless.
 
Het idee voor de samenwerking tussen het drietal kwam tot stand nadat ze regelmatig naast elkaar geprogrammeerd stonden op evenementen. Als liefhebber van elkaars muziek ontstond er snel een creatieve chemie in de studio. Het resulteerde in het hardstyle-nummer ´Paranoia´.
 
“We wilden iets explosiefs maken wat aansluit op het gevoel wat veel mensen momenteel hebben. Het zijn roerige tijden en mensen worden paranoia van het systeem, de overheid of de maatschappij. We hopen dat onze muziek helpt bij het ontladen”, aldus LNY TNZ. Regisseur Steven Elbers maakte een filmische vertaling van dit gevoel voor de bijbehorende videoclip.

As you guys have noticed we have been expanding our musical path into Housemusic with 'Beautiful World' as 'DBSTF'. When we started working together 10 years ago as D-Block & S-te-Fan, we started to produce the music which we loved most; Hardstyle.

After 10 years of beautiful memories with all our fans, an album, more than 100 releases, amazing shows and numerous highlights we are having a hard time reinventing ourselves in the studio with just Hardstyle. Besides that our musical interest reaches far beyond just Hardstyle, and we know same goes for a lot of our fans. For this reason we have chosen to use our abridgement 'DBSTF' to produce and release music other than Hardstyle in the future. It's still us, but the name is different.

This will definetely not mean we are saying farewell to Hardstyle as we will continue to make Hardstyle as D-Block & S-te-Fan. To underline this we have made a 'D-Block & S-te-Fan' rmx of 'Beautiful World' which you guys can find here.
