In the early 2000s they produced as a team, founded the Kollege Schnürschuh Collective and were responsible for numerous productions in the German HipHop scene. Phonk D's past was more 4/4 beat based and Ise Jr. always had a great passion for electronic music. Over time their sound slightly changed, the label Footjob was founded and a great number of sketches were made in that musical direction. Luckily, Phonk D rarely throws anything off his hard drives, which allowed him to fine-tune some of the old jewels like these four tracks. They've matured for about 10 years and now finally come to see the strobelight of the club.

The 25th release to come from Footjob, we are looking on a delicious eight track compilation which is guaranteed to bring heat to the dancefloors. Footure Classics Vol. 3 combines the label’s beloved quality sound of our resident artists and also welcomes a few new faces. The opener “Carry On” is delivered by The Dead Rose Music Company and sets the pace right away showcasing some good old on-point sample work. Head honcho Phonk D contributes two danceable collaborative tracks with Van Aachen (“Make A Change”) and Sascha Ciminiera (“Ortona Sunset”). Siggatunez and Rolf Royce also opt for a joint tune called “What We All Want” – a dreamy, yet still banging anthem for those special moments in the morning hours. Exploring new musical grounds, Lukas Lehmann puts his synths into heavy action for a stomping acidy approach, ironically dubbing it “No Sir, I Can’t Acid”. For those into Nu Disco Claus Casper serves his inciting and fun “Spaghetti Eyes” while Disco Sour provide a contemporary edit based on a 40-year-old classic. The compilation is rounded off by Most Haunted, who gently takes us back to 80s vibes with his "Timemachine", without missing to give the whole thing a modern twist.

From 'Talking Vintage', an quite energetic floor-filler with a feel-good sound thanks to the percussions that will last in your memory for some time, to 'Gettin' Down', a homage to the French 70's on the southern shores of the Cote d'Azur, the charismatic producer keeps the level at the very top of the game. With Lukas Lehmann, a new face joins the footjob-squad. Out of his estimated 7.436 unfinished projects, he managed to complete three tracks, bag a remix and bundle it all up to what will hit the stores as 'This Is Why' EP. The A-Side kicks off with the discoish banger 'Q&H' and a beautiful synth-heavy remix by Lorenz Rhode - not only famous for his releases on Compost Records or Exploited but also for taking Detroit-Swindle-Liveshows to another level with his godlike keys-skills. The deeper side of Lukas' sound is represented on the B-Side. Starting with edgy piano chords, 'Solid/Fragile (Coexistence)' introduces an enchanting arpeggio midway through the track. With its distinctive strings, 'Nothing But A Heartache' makes for a semi-sentimental yet still hips-moving finisher.
