Goldman is a Bristol based producer, DJ and co-odinator of the 160bpm music forum  and promotions outlet WORKS (fka Half-time // Slow/fast) as well as the record label WORKS Records.  Both the label & club night under the WORKS moniker set out to exhibit the varying  global sounds of the grey area that exists between footwork, juke, jungle and hardcore music, whilst retaining the futurist vision set out by the originators of these genres.  
Similarly, Goldman’s productions set out to push boundaries, whilst paying homage to the origins of these genres. A drum machine enthusiast, his productions are written initially using an outboard sampler, and focus on creating grooves with minimal elements and a distinctly live feel, heavily inspired by the early days of UK rave music  & juke / footwork. 
His second EP, ‘The Waiting Room’, demonstrates his ability to make tunes for home  listening as well as the dancefloor, inspired by liminal spaces. 80s samples, warm funk  leads and airy, saturated pads are used alongside chopped up breaks & triplet drums  to create a sense of nostalgia, whilst leaning into the retro-futurism of 90s jungle &  forward thinking arrangements of Chicago footwork.  
He has had support from DJ Mag, Rinse France & Balamii, releases on Trax Haven, Excess & WORKS last year, and several more already lined up for this year.

It's been over 20 years since I started DJing Drum and bass with the collective Killabass and as a resident DJ at Pulse club (Madrid), where artists like Andy C, Hype, Ed Rush & Optical, and many others performed. At that time, the musical policy of the clubs was different, and it wasn't common to mix different styles in one night. That was one of the reasons why I decided to lower the BPMs a bit and not confine myself to just one thing. After so long, I was eager to do a drum & bass set, a style from which I've learned techniques that are always present in my sets, such as double drops and teases. Let this mix, recorded live at the Brrrrrrap party (Siroco Club, Madrid), serve as a small tribute to a style that I owe so much to.

After five years of planning, writing, and refining their sound, London-based production duo Kolectiv are set to release their long-awaited debut drum & bass album, Circadian Rhythms.

The project began in the aftermath of the pandemic, when the pair started setting aside tracks that captured the spirit of a night out at a drum & bass event. Their vision was clear: to create an album that reflects the variety, energy, and progression of a rave – from the first beats that pull you into the closing sounds that carry you home.

“Going out to drum & bass nights, you’d hear so many different flavours across six or seven hours. We wanted the album to follow that same arc – like a circadian rhythm, a natural flow of time, but in this case the cycle of a rave,” Kolectiv explain.

To achieve this, the duo placed a strong emphasis on originality and sound design. Most of the album was built from scratch using their own recorded samples, crafted through sessions with keys, drums, and guitars, and only dipping into external sources when absolutely necessary. Vocal collaborations from PAV4N, Hijak MC, Illmatika and Kerry Donnelly add unique flavour to the project, while carefully placed interludes tie the project together as a complete listening experience.

“This isn’t just a collection of tracks. We wanted it to be a journey – a cradle-to-grave kind of experience – with highs, lows, and moments to breathe.”

The title Circadian Rhythms captures that intention perfectly: an audio diary of a night spent immersed in drum & bass culture, told through Kolectiv’s trademark blend of technical precision and emotional depth.

The project also coincided with a complete studio overhaul, giving Kolectiv a fresh environment to finalize and mix down the record with a renewed sense of clarity and focus.

With Circadian Rhythms, Kolectiv deliver more than an album – they present a story, an atmosphere, and a tribute to the music and culture that shaped them.
